Re: Turning CPAP Off and Back On During Sleep Interruptions
Midnight to 3 AM.....3 hours of use 5 AM to 8 AM....3 hours of use add them together and you get 6 hours of machine use. The time spent reading with machine off...doesn't count for anything except no sleep for those 2 hours and no machine use for those 2 hours. BTW...it's not WiFi....your machine us...

Re: Question for Bleep/Eclipse users who file their insurance for the mask
Here's the list I got from Stuart.
Aeroflow (I have heard of them and heard positives)
Apria (also known as Crapria and their service is well known to be a real PITA)
Lincare (I know nothing about them)
Adapt Healthcare (I know nothing about them)
And RoTech but it only carries the Eclipse stuff.

Question for Bleep/Eclipse users who file their insurance for the mask
I am trying to figure out which suppliers out there will file insurance in lieu of payment for the Bleep/Eclipse. I know we have a few forum members who are doing this but I forget (or never knew) who their suppliers are. I just want to know who you use for your Bleep/Eclipse supplies if you are let...

Re: Do I Really Need APAP?
So.....what symptoms did you have that caused you to get the home sleep study test done? Have any of those symptoms eased up or abated? And yes....people can have really severe OSA with AHI a LOT higher than yours and they only need 4 to 5 cm pressure to resolve the issue. Conversely there are peopl...

Re: SETTINGS HELP
Thank you Pugsy, Would you suggest IPAP of 18 or 20? to start? In VAuto mode the correct terminology is Maximum IPAP and not just IPAP....So understand what I am talking about. If it were me and I wanted to try VAuto mode (bear in mind I have zero idea what kind of results you were getting with you...

Re: SETTINGS HELP
IPAP 14.0 EPAP 10 These settings effectively give you PS of 4. PS is pressure support or the difference between inhale and exhale. In S mode you won't see PS in the menu but it's there by default even if not specifically mentioned. In VAuto mode is max IPAP set to 14? Or something higher? If the ne...

Re: Turning CPAP Off and Back On During Sleep Interruptions
Will this affect the results of the test phase or can I turn the cpap off and back on during a single night without having to worry about something? Here's what happens if you take the mask off and just let the machine run while you go do something else.....the machine will know you aren't attached...

Re: Need a prescription?
Yet I ordered the F40 mask over the interwebs in the USA and didn't have to provide squat other than my credit card number. Yet that doesn't mean that those interweb sellers aren't breaking the law. I guess some internet sellers just don't bother with laws. I think it is a stupid law. Like who in t...

Please review this thread for examples of how we need the reports to have the graphs formatted optimally. http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t158560/How-to-post-images-for-review.html Lose the calendar on the left. Turn off the pie chart.... both are unneeded but the information below those items can...

Re: Need a prescription?
Machines and complete mask packages come with a sticker on them stating a RX is required.
Yeah...might be a stupid law but it is a federal law and like other laws...we have to abide by them and that includes online suppliers.

Re: Still Feeling Terrible After 3 Months
I can't explain after I wake up why I had so many clear airways as I was still awake. Because our awake breathing is very irregular compared to asleep breathing and the machine doesn't measure sleep status....instead it measures air flow or breathing which sometimes, when awake, gets a central apne...
