Re: Lost graphs on Oscar
Still using the DreamStation??? Odd that you seem to have lost the data files for the detailed data. I assume that you have the data on the left side of the report which is just the summary data??? Either the machine is going whacko or the SD card has gone whacko. Try easy experiment first....get an...

Re: How to detect mouth breathing/leak
Do leaks from the mouth appear on Oscar? If they are big enough they will show up. All leaks (mask movement, mouth opening, hole in the hose) will show up in the OSCAR report data as long as the machine is reporting leak data. Now not all mouth opening leaks are going to be large enough to show up....

Re: Anyone use PAPMD cpap filters?
Not sure why you can't find the AB setting. Did you see this thread? Others have it. https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t158349/AB-filter-setting.html It's there. On my machine (the AirCurve 10 VAuto) it is right there below the Accessories choice (which mine doesn't have anything in) and there is O...

Re: Anyone use PAPMD cpap filters?
Resmed has a setting adjustment that minimizes the problem due to adding a filter. Can you be more specific in how a user can find this sensor and adjust it? There is no adjusting the ResMed anti bacterial filter setting....it's either on or off. No in between. You can't adjust it and probably woul...

Re: How to detect mouth breathing/leak
If the machine isn't flagging large leaks then I don't know that I would worry one way or another where the leaks are coming from as long as I was sleeping decently, the leaks didn't wake me up and I felt decent during the day.

Re: For Sale: F&P Vitera Masks and 3 Cushions - MAKE AN OFFER
Doesn't appear to be much interest in the mask and/or cushions. Sometimes the right person just hasn't seen the post but sometimes we have stuff that just no one wants or at least no one on the forum to see the post that might want it. I had this happen several times and I was offering products for ...

Are you using a cpap machine humidifier? If so, at what setting?

No. I don't do that stuff.tiredNorlando wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 6:27 pmPugsy- it was pointed out to me that I I have palatal prolapse on my expirations, any thoughts on this?
You need to probably talk to whomever it was that says you have palatal prolapse on exhale.
Sorry.

Re: Respironics Flex & Bipap
Flex setting is roughly equivalent to a per cm reduction with each setting. It depends on which Respironics model but the earlier models wouldn't/couldn't give more than a 2 cm drop even with a setting of 3 but from some of the reports I have seen the setting of 3 seems to give a 3 cm drop. This was...

Re: Moving up to aircurve Vauto
Can you explain the flow rate and what looks good and not good? Asleep breathing is nice and regular and smooth and boring. I circled the asleep breathing in this image in red. The rest that isn't inside the red....not sound asleep. http://i.imgur.com/PcISi7Pl.jpg Same time frame image but zoomed o...

Re: Moving up to aircurve Vauto
Why did you decide to use PS of 5? I don't think I ever mentioned that setting. I don't ever recommend more than 4 cm PS unless special circumstances. How did you sleep? Your flow rate says "not so great" because all but one of those flagged events were arousal/awake related. How do you feel today? ...

Re: Getting stuck with UARS settings!
How one would keep my airways from collapsing during REM. That's what I'm asking for advice on here! Is it a higher EPAP to help the stint? Is it a higher IPAP. These are all questions I'm trying to figure out. Generally it is EPAP that is considered to be the primary force that stints the airway o...

Re: Device manufacturing date 2016 (Airsense 10)?
That overall age of the machine (despite the hours) is a legitimate concern which is why I put asking price question in there. Two years sitting on the shelf is one thing but 9 years is a whole different thing...IMO We don't know when or even IF it will fail at some point in the future. How much of ...

Re: Device manufacturing date 2016 (Airsense 10)?
I suspect the scratches are from the machine being sitting out on a shelf somewhere that it gets bumped around a little. Sounds like the place selling it is/was some sort of DME and that machine simply got forgotten and just set there gathering dust. I guess for me and this machine......what is the ...

Re: Problem with Airsense 11.
You folks who have had the water chamber go dry on you..... What pressures are you using and what is your leak rate? What is your ambient humidity in your bedroom? I could (and did) use the AirSense 11 AutoSet for a period of time and at a setting of 8 for humidity I didn't run out of water with 9 h...
