Re: No pressure data on ResMed S8 Elite II
Sleepy Taz is correct. Your on CPAP so your pressure is always constant so there is no need to report it. Just skip over it like you have been doing. Myself, I love the machine.

Re: change of pressure
Hi...your numbers a very good, but again it's how you feel. You might give it another night or two and if you don't feel better contact your doc. FYI and AI under 5 is excellent and since yours is 0.0 your apnea's are being treated. Your AHI is also very good...my AI are around 3 and my AHI is aroun...

Re: one more newbie
Hi and welcome; It does take time to get use to the equipment...after all how many years have you been sleeping without anything on your face? Everyday gets better and you will get use to where the mask goes, the best place for the hose, ramping, etc.. I have my ramp starting at 7 and goes to 17 in ...

Re: Anyone have an S8 Escape series II?
Hi and welcome; I have the Ellite II with EPR and the 4I humidifier. Very quite and it does give you AI, HI, AHI, Leak, Pressure, and Compliance data. As far as the EPR goes, I like it, but after 2 months I have almost shut it off. It's great if you are on high pressure like me at 17, at least your ...

Re: Does anyone else....
Yes it will go away. Your lungs are not used to the new pressure and the expansion of your chest muscles. Give it some time.

Re: Apnea and Depression
CPAP has helped me a lot so far. I attempted suicide last year before CPAP and have been on Celexa and Cymbalta for over a year, but found having a good night sleep with CPAP has helped my overall mood. Yes I have a bad day here and there, but who doesn't. If you are depressed for a long period of t...

Re: sores on bridge of nose
I have the same problem. I was at the sleep doctor yesterday with my equipment guy, and he was very concerned about the red mark on my nose that will not heal. Because there is not a mask out there that will work on me at a pressure of 17, he reduced my pressure and told me to loosen my top straps s...

Re: take off mask in middle of the night
Yes I have done that as well. Woke up in the morning, found my machine off, the maks put away and I have once even cleaned it and put it away. I think once you get really comfortable with the mask this will stop. Funny how your brain works though.

Re: Help Please! I can not sleep
Hang in there...I have tried every mask ResMed and Respironics makes and not one has not leaked (about 20 masks). Ask your DME if they have any older models you could try. Talking to the ResMed sales guy, the new masks have some material cut away, and the old ones may work. I have one coming tomorro...

Re: How am I doing
Like any new user strugling with leaks causing waking up every 2-3 hours. Out of 12 masks still have not found one that fits properly, only close. Still not feeling a little tired and memory/concentration not up to speed. Yes I do change the settings of the mask when it's changed. A little lip leak ...

How am I doing
Below are my results from Rescan 3.7, could you let me know how I'm doing and any suggestions. I do have leaks with this mask and the Swift LT using the small pillows with the mod done to it. After 12 masks these 2 seem the best so far. Therepy Mode: CPAP Set Pressure: 17.0 cmH2O EPR Level: 3.0 cm D...

Re: OT: ACE Inhibitor Cough
Hi all....DO NOT stop taking your ACE inhibitor's without your Doc knowing. There can be side effects as these pills do other things in your body chemistry as well as your heart. Yes the cough is bad, but your doc should be able to put you on something else right away. Once you start taking some of ...

PM-50 Pulse Oximeter
Hi;
I'm looking for the software for a Mindray PM-50 Pulse Oximeter. If you have a copy your willing to share I would be greatly appreciated. I would like to do my own study with my CPAP machine to see how low my oxygen level goes.
Thanks for your help
