I wish I'd found this website months ago because it might have helped improve my health and quality of living at a time when I was desperately seeking answers. What follows is...

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

Hi, it seems like a good thing, but you didn't mention if it measures oxygen levels, which is vital to a proper test for sleep apnea, if nothing else, and... I feel you are possibly cheating yourself of a healthy future by having decided you don't need Cpap (yet). If you have apnea, you need Cpap, ...

Re: ReScan 3.7 Capabilities with S8 AutoSet II

Yes, the AutoSet II is compatible with ResScan 3.7. I just purchased an AutoSet II and the software about 10 days ago so I don't know all there is to know about the application yet but it sounds like your DME printed out two things: 1. The information on the "Statistics" tab in "Review" mode 2. The ...

Re: Where to purchase SPO 7500 pulse oximeter?

Thanks for the info all! The best price I could find was $418.60 @ http://www.quickmedical.com/spo_medical/pulseox_7500f.html. I wasn't sure how reputable this vendor was so I called Turner Medical and spoke with a guy there who said he could match the price (after verifying it, of course) so I orde...

Re: Who needs CPAP.Com when you have Sky Mall magazine.

I always have to laugh when I see those ads. But then I think of people with undiagnosed sleep apnea purchasing these things with the expectation that their "snoring problem" will be solved by one of these contraptions and it's not as funny anymore.

Where to purchase SPO 7500 pulse oximeter?

I've seen http://www.turnermedical.com recommended by a few people but it looks like they're out of stock. Can anyone else recommend a reliable seller with a decent price (~$450)? Thanks very much!

Oximeters: CMS50-F vs SPO 7500

If you own the SPO 7500, can you tell me what, in your opinion, justifies the $200+ price premium over a unit like the the CMS50-F? Thanks!

Resmed AutoSet II clinical menu settings

I received my new Resmed AutoSet II last night and just finished setting it up. I bought it from cpap.com so I have the "Clinical Quick Setup Guide" but it's basically just a diagram of the clinical menu options. Can anyone shed some light on what these menu items do? - SmartStart - EPR Inhale (in C...

Re: M Series Auto w/A-Flex -or- Resmed S8 AutoSet II?

Thanks everyone for all the information! It's been very helpful to me. After reading all of your responses to my post as well as many other posts on this forum, I finally decided last night to go with the Resmed S8 AutoSet II. I probably should have turned the computer off at that point and gone to ...

M Series Auto w/A-Flex -or- Resmed S8 AutoSet II?

Hi everyone. I've been using an old Respironics REMStar (w/o C-Flex) for the past several years to treat my OSA. I recently had another titration study and found that my pressure needs to be adjusted a bit from 12cm to 14cm. Given the age of my current machine and the fact that it doesn't offer any ...
