Re: New guy here with a few questions
I know my mask is starting to leak a bit on the ends and read about putting plumbers tape on it. I'll try that tonight to get the leaks even lower. Last night was the first in a long time that my fiancee didn't get up in the middle of the night and head off to the spare room. She said there was alwa...

Re: New guy here with a few questions
Bingo!
I didn't get a chance fo hit Home Depot yesterday but I did get to a drug store. I bought some of that Nexcare Micropore tape that I read about here.
My leak rate went from .78 l/s down to .44l/s
My AHI went from 7.7 down to 2.8
My HI went from 7.6 to 2.8
No apneas at all

Re: New guy here with a few questions
OK, I got my equipment section filled in. How do I know if I am mouth breathing? Just try the tape and see if things are better? I also need the humidifier set to max to keep my mouth moist enough and even that isn't so effective. I also should mention that I had my nose broken when I was a kid and ...

Re: Finally got a battery!
I considered an Optima but I wanted something I could take on a long motorcycle trip or maybe a short kayak trip. It shouldn't be too hard to wire it up to be charged by the motorcycle while riding. I had some spare room under my gas tank so I installed an extra Oddysey battery that will charge whe...

New guy here with a few questions
Hi all, New guy here and would love to glean some of the collective wisdom I know is here. I'll give a brief medical history as I think some of it is related to the apnea. I've always been told that I stop breathing at night but never took it seriously. I remember 25 years ago my ex wife would shake...
