Re: Looking for a surgeon in DFW, TX area
My apologies for the unfounded accusations against Dr. Li. He must be doing a lot of things right to have such strong defenders, as well as having a successful surgical record. The teaching comments gave me a great idea. I started searching for the Baylor Dental school and A&M Health Science Center ...

Re: Looking for a surgeon in DFW, TX area
I do have my tonsils, but 2 Sleep Dr.'s and 2 oral surgeons have told me they are not the issue. I have never had issues with my tonsils as far as infections, either. I do get sinus infections at least twice a year, and stay on an antihistimine almost year round, which controls my allergies most of ...

Re: Looking for a surgeon in DFW, TX area
Do you know if there is a written version of Dr. Li's interview?. I find it difficult to listen to an hour recording, but would be more likely to read the article in full. I only made it through about the first 15 minutes. However, I have have the ability to read very quickly and absorb the content.

Re: Looking for a surgeon in DFW, TX area
The problem is not what I've tried or not tried.... the problem is not even with the results I get from my apap. The issue is I want a cure, not a treatment. I am no longer willing to settle for a miserable ball and chain cure. I want a healthy body, and to be able to sleep free from a machine. I am...

Looking for a surgeon in DFW, TX area
I had finally had all I can stand with the APAP for over a year. Went to an Oral Surgeon, who took full head x-rays and decided that an oral device would only have a 50/50 chance of helping me. He referred me to his partner, whom he said was up to date on the latest procedures for sleep apnea surger...

Re: It's SleepWeaver--not DreamWeaver
Hi, Big Northerner! I'm not a representative of the manufacturer in any way, shape, or form, but will try to answer as many of your questions/comments as well as I can from a user's perspective. I too, was extremely skeptical of this mask, and found the detail lacking in the information available o...

Re: Full LIfe Fan Club
I likened it to strapping a tupperware bowl to my face and expecting it not to leak....
I did then get the Fit Life, which I think is confusing and should have been called the Full Life, since it truly covers the full face.
Anyway, I really like the Fit LIfe.

Re: It's SleepWeaver--not DreamWeaver
Where is it leaking? Have you watched the fitting videos they have available? Is it near the mouth or the eyes?
I have trouble with it leaking around the eyes, but I really like the way it feels overall.

Re: Swift LT for her to Mirage Liberty?
About the Mirage Liberty- I just got one because of sinus infections and stuffiness... I knew I'd need a full face eventually, so I have this one, which I really liked the very first time I put it on. I started with the Swift LT for Her, but could never ever get a good seal all night long. The pillo...

Re: wearing nasal mask with a headcold
Altoid peppermints help open the sinuses and also Halls cough drops. You can also use Earl Grey hot tea, as there is something aromatic in the tea that opens the sinuses and soothes the throat. Personally, I am now trying to find the right full face to use as I had my annual allergy induced sinus in...

Re: new circadiance sleepweaver advance?
Yes, I have the same cpap machine as you do and it's the best.....Good luck on your mask hunt. I used to call them "mask wars". I too have gone back to some of the first masks that I got and rejected, and found that the reasons I thought were the problems with them were not correct. It had to do wit...
