Re: What do you do with your mask in the morning?
When I wake up I reach over and turn the machine off then remove the mask and lay it on the bed next to the pillow then get up. I wash the mask every few months whether it needs it or not;^) I've used my origional pillows on my Swift LT for over 6 months and it is going strong.

Re: MIRAGE SWIFT LT QUALITY POLL--Update 5/12/09
Since I've only had my Swift LT about 3 1/2 months I didn't vote. So far I'm still loving this mask and have had no problems with it. I have had one nostril collapse but by shutting the machine off then repositioning the pillows the problem is solved. I plan to get another pillow when I have a chanc...

Re: How long do you use your mask before replacing the seal ?
I've been on CPAP for 15+ years and just several months ago started using my 4th mask, Swift LT, keeping my Mirage Activa for a backup. I normally wash the mask 2 or 3 times a year but have never changed the seal. The first mask lasted 5 or 6 years before I broke the plastic frame. The LT may not la...

Re: Stuffy nose question
Using Afrin type medicens do work but if you use over 3 to 5 days in a row it could cause damage to your nasal tissue and lead to chronic congestion. My doctor recommended Nasalchrom (two squirts in each nostril) which works great although I use a "house brand" (Cromoly sodium).

Re: Swift LT - Shortness of Breath
I've had a reduced flow several times and each time I realized that one or both pillows had collapsed. The solution was to turn the machine off and reposition the pillows then restart the machine. I agree that the straps need to be slack for comfort and sealing. If you enlarged the exhaust holes the...

Re: Need help with the Swift LT Nasal pillows
I've had good luck keeping the head geer in place by wearing a light watch cap. This has helped with several masks. Also I find that I can obtain a good seal by positioning the pillows before turning the machine on -- if I develop a bad leak its almost impossible to reseal without shutting down and ...
