When I wake up I reach over and turn the machine off then remove the mask and lay it on the bed next to the pillow then get up. I wash the mask every few months whether it needs it or not;^) I've used my origional pillows on my Swift LT for over 6 months and it is going strong.

Using Afrin type medicens do work but if you use over 3 to 5 days in a row it could cause damage to your nasal tissue and lead to chronic congestion. My doctor recommended Nasalchrom (two squirts in each nostril) which works great although I use a "house brand" (Cromoly sodium).
