Re: odd side effect: air inside under lower eyelid
Now according to my opthamologist,( who is also a friend ) it can happen, .......so who knows. I think it is always best to trust the patient, and go to the opthamologist for an eye check, as for the DME provider, well, I dont want to sound rude, but I truly don't like it when any one right off the ...

Re: Work travel w/ CPAP and possible hotel roommates
I really do agree that CPAP and BIPAP is no big deal, BUT I still think it is courteous to tell some one. Even if quiet, it does make noise. I feel the same way if a person has a bad snoring problem, or needs to sleep with a TV on, any thing that is out of the norm, should be disclosed, in a matter ...

Re: Work travel w/ CPAP and possible hotel roommates
My personal opinion is I would not share a room without at least finding out if the person is a light sleeper or what. In my case I am used to the noise as we both are on machines, myself BIPAP for a neuromuscular disorder and my spouse for CPAP. Now we went on a trip and took for one night a hotel ...

Re: EPR and BiPAP, is there much difference?
Unless of course you have a BIPAP with a timed setting feature. This is used alot for people with neuromuscular issues that dont have sufficiant respiratory drive.

Re: I have sleep apnea plus another sleep prob
I doubt highly that depression is caused by apnea 50% of the time. It does contribute, the lack of sleep and in some it is the principal cause, depression is far to complex to be caused by one thing only. I do think you need to speak with your mental health team, whether it be a nurse or social work...

Re: Not a fun night!
I have a portable airconditioner/heater combo thing. It's pretty big actually but it will cool a whole floor. I used to use it in my warehouse back in the day. The exhaust is a simple flex tube. When I moved my business home I set it up in the garage and put it near the wall, boring out a hole for ...

Re: Not a fun night!
Yes, me as well, I always use more power when I use AC, however I did not notice a big differance between consumption of the window air and the portable unit. The down stairs takes a little more because it has a higher BTU and covers a larger space. Over all well worth the money!Since I dont use the...

Re: Not a fun night!
I have one like this, the portable one for the down stairs level and a window AC upstairs. I dont find a differance in power bills between the two units of significance.

Re: Not a fun night!
They now make air conditioning systems that are ductless and work pretty good. They dont go into the window. I read you say you cannot put one in your window, this may be a solution, how ever I am pretty sure a good handy man can figure some thing for the window. My bedroom window also could not tak...

Re: doctor won't let Me buy on-line
I find it frightening that a doctor can have this degree of control. Where I live, its up to the patient to decide where they purchase their items. My better half was given a scrpt with a list of places he could go to, along with prescription. He made his choice where he went. I also did the same. I...

I really do hope that you feel better soon. I find heat helps me the most for pain. I take a hot bath or shower and then I crawl into bed and place a heating bag on the sore areas, it helps alot for me. At least makes me feel better and comfy. I hope tonight goes better for you.

Re: I am so angry
now I dont feel so bad, mine conked out after a week, and now I have a replacement. So much for new technology, the old fashioned work horse bipaps wored for years on end, have had nothing but glitches and problems with the new ones.
