Re: OT: Sore losers hurt my feelings
I have been so hurt lately. By all of the reverse hatred by all the people who cant stand it that Trump won. I catch it everywhere I go. Hatred. From the left. Oftentimes for some reason its women. Women seem to hate Trump and love the progressive democrat thing. I dont know why though, because mos...

Re: Full time RV with CPAP
Taking advantage any charge source is good, but it takes several hours to charge a computer and in the end you've only taken in a few amp hours. A big house bank can accept much more power so you should really focus on keeping that happy. If you want to think emergency backup, remember the cars alt...

Re: Trying to love Quattro
I so much want to love my Quattro. I also have the activa LT, but so far I am preferring the Quattro (comfortwise). I'm new at this so I'm not sure how I am suppose to feel after 7-8 hours with my therapy. I am not feeling very refreshed in the morning and my face looks like h3LL. I am fighting the...

Re: Anyone try to make their own homemade Remzzzs?
I tried making my own, but the T-shirt material I used was too thick, and I couldn't get a good seal. The real RemZzzs work much better. Although they recommend using a new one every night, I usually make mine last three or four nights, or until the dog eats it.

Re: OSA + Job, work nights occasionally?
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I am a software tester for a small/medium CC processing firm and I am just now seeing that we might haev to work some late late nights to accommodate some clients (clients are in africa). I have severe OSA and as you can imagine, sleep terribl...

Re: What is your generation
This generation has its needs too for CPAP, but I think there will be an alarming trend in the CPAP market in 20-30 years because the numbers out there are going to dwindle (drop off in baby boomers) and will be supported by a much smaller generations. That conclusion is not correct because it over...

Re: Looking into getting a back up machine, what do you....
When I bought a back-up machine, I was also worried about power outages and I bought the Everest travel machine. I use straight CPAP, and the Everest isn't an Auto-PAP. Still, it's small, lightweight, great for travel and battery operated in case of a power outage. It does feel a bit different from...

Re: Short Trip -not taking CPAP
[/quote] I didn't want a "confirming" response I just don't want lectures from the avid hosers who have not travelled without their equipment. I simply wanted to know if any members have travelled without a CPAP and how it effected them - a few have responded with info and I appreciate that. [/quote...

Re: POLL: Technical Discussions
Technical discussions are why I came here in the first place. I have learned a lot from you guys, and have learned to accept the fact that I need CPAP and just get on with it. I don't, however, ENJOY reading them. I do learn a lot from them when I do.

Re: Medical Equipment Tag
Thanks for the quick reply! I knew I could count on you guys! Someone broke into our house by smashing the back door ($1500 to repair it) and stole both my laptop and my husband's, our iPods, our cameras including the brand new one that I had just gotten for Christmas and all of my jewelry. They too...

Medical Equipment Tag
Someone here posted a link to a printable medical equipment tag to attach to the CPAP case for air travel. I saved it to my computer, planning to print it out when I needed to travel. But then someone stole my computer, so I no longer have the tag. Could someone please post that link again? I can't ...

Re: Cardiac surgery and CPAP
I am going to have cardiac surgery as early as April or as late as 2-3 years--depending on the progression of my valve. I'm trying to get my "ducks in a row" and was wondering what I need to do about my SA when they put me under. All my docs at Duke know about my SA and I will have a special gas pa...

Re: Hospital stays and CPAP
Not sure I like the idea of a hospital engineer checking my machine to approve it for use. I am particular, and don't like anyone touching my machine. If they had to approve it I would ask them to provide one for my stay. I just had surgery and decided with my mild apnea only to have my person set ...

Re: The Joys of a New Puppy
Your post caught my attention because we, too have a new puppy. He's absolutely adorable and we love him to death, but he can be a major pain in the butt. Two weeks ago he ate the internet cable at the wall where it comes into the house. (So now we have Verizon instead of Comcast.) Last week he ate...

Re: OT: Losing a Parent
I lost my father in January -- he managed to have both a heart attack and a stroke at the same time, so determined was he to die at the time of his choosing. He had been caring for my mother, who like three of her five brothers, has Alzheimer's. After so many months, the grief is dulling, but how w...
