Re: Just can't do it...
Bzerbe, I am also new to this since April 1, I am now on my 4th mask and now feel I have the right one. My kids and wife laughed at me when I first showed them what I would be wearing and as others have said I just ignored it and looked forward to getting my sleep apnea under control. Reading and re...

Re: Have question regarding data...
Yes they set up the loaner on CPAP mode until I see my sleep doctor in May. I totally agree about taking control of my treatment, because of this forum I had many questions regarding my sleep apnea and CPAP therapy that I wouldn't have thought of initially. I also mentioned to the sleep therapist th...

Re: New here/getting nose surgery
Hopefully they use plastic splints here in Canada after the surgery??? I have to go again to have it done and I keep putting it off because of the pain and discomfort I went through the first time.

Re: Have question regarding data...
Here are the numbers according to my statistics from April 02 to April 15 with my pressure set to 12.0: AHI = 8.8, AI = 0.2, HI = 8.6, Leakage = 0.2 L/s. I was told that these were excellent numbers and that I was showing positive results with CPAP therapy. Are these numbers as good as I am being to...

Re: Have question regarding data...
Thank you for the reply DreamStalker...I am quite positive that the episode was apnea, she did mention that she usually only gets the first 5 days but can go up to 2 weeks if needed. I am still at work and have the numbers at home but will try to remember to post them tonight when I get home.

Have question regarding data...
Good day to all, After my first Sleep Apnea test I received a call to make arrangements for another test this time using CPAP. I had been doing some research on the net trying to find a forum with good advice for newbies like myself to better educate myself for what may become my new way of sleeping...

Re: Need Lansinoh?
I picked some up at the Superstore last night and it was under the name PurLan in the Baby/Breastfeeding isle. I was on my second night of trying the Swift LT and read on this forum (great forum by the way, getting some great advice) about using lanolin for my nares to help with sealing and sore pre...
