I can't seem to figure out how to download my data from the smartcard. Is there a tutorial somewhere? The directions that came with the machine don't appear to address this?? I put the card in the reader,it was recognized by the computer,I created a pt. name and clicked download.A bar appeared like s...

Re: Backup machine
Thanks to all of you for your replies, you have all offered good information. "I'm curious. Do you plan to travel with that F&P HC150 humidifier? That's an excellent humidifier, but it's a little bulky to carry around! Or, will you simple travel without a humidifier?" I have the slide in Remstar humi...

Re: Backup machine
I have looked at the site before posting, and I am leaning toward the IntelliPAP AutoAdjust Travel CPAP Machine with SmartFlex.
I was looking for some user reports on various machines.
Emilia, from your posts it seems you are happy with the InteliPAP.
Nice cat you have there Emilia.

Backup machine
Hi, I am going to get a backup machine that would also be used for travel. Due some machines hook up to a 12V battery easier than others? I have a Remstar M series,so I do not need a data capable machine. I will still be using my F&P HC150 humidifier,so a built in humidifier is not wanted.I will be ...

I just left my power supply behind as well, can't believe I did it. Did the OP find a solution?

Re: How to make Encore Viewer 2.0 work in 64-bit systems
"Unfortunately those of us with M Series machines are stuck using a 32 bit system - which means a separate laptop just for EV or EP."
When I went from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Win7 ,on my laptop, I made a partition and put Win7 on it.

Re: chin strap recommendation?
I suppose that finding the right chin strap is like finding the right mask, what works for one does not work for another.I will try the Resprionics chin strap next.I tried the pap- cap with negative results. You could make your own pap- cap, just cut the bill off of an old baseball cap,cut a piece of ...

Re: CPAP machine smells like smoke
I was on the road late, and the only room left at a motel was a smoking room. My machine did pick up the smell.I changed the filters and ran it with the window open.I still took 2 days to completely clear.

Re: Electromagnetic Field (EMF)
Aussiegrouch, thanks for the info.I knew the machine put out allot of EMF when I tried to use my AM radio one night. I haven't read much on the subject lately, the article I read talked about clock radios and there placement next to the head , I believe EMF is a possible health hazard. Please post an...

Re: best pillow to keep airway open on airplane?
I bought a backpacking pillow at REI that I use at home,I see no reason it would not work for travel. It is small and has two loops attached that allow you to roll it up like a sleeping bag.

Re: Whisper cap?
Nope, it doesn't come with the machine. It costs about $15 plus shipping, and I personally found it to be completely worthless. YMMV.
My experience as well.
