Re: ResMed Card Reader differences?
Is a ACR38U-PNC-R already equipped with the Card Guide? I have seen these advertised as discontinued stock.

Re: ResMed 8 series
I use a Elite S8 II and I don't know that an Auto is needed my DME never said anything and I have never seen any advertisement for the upgrade of a S8 model you would think that would be a good selling point. I have seen post on line about upgrades to S7 models. It would be great if ResMed would ans...

Re: Supplemental Oxygen
That great info. At 2L, last night my SpO2 was an average of 4pt higher than the night before and never went below 90%. I bought a 50ft hose and the Concentrator is in the living room with the cats. I have not notice a change in how I feel yet but two night is not a trend.

Re: Am i supposed to GAIN weight on cpap or lose it?
I gained 4 pounds in a month but I have not added any exercise to my average day either once I get my numbers down and my oxygen levels up at least at night. I am hopeful that I will feel more like using some of the exercise equipment for more than a coat rack.

Re: Quick Question... is this TRUE??
One thing is for sure if it were not for this site we would be at their mercy weather it is lack of knowledge or lack of profit. This site should be required reading for new CPAP users. I am not sure I would require a prescription for a CPAP machine but I would require a specific amount of recurring...

Re: Great Advice
Welcome aboard I to have found the site a great comfort. We are not alone and just checking in from time to time helps me stay in control of my own therapy in a way I would not have if my DME or Doc was my only source of info. This site rocks.

Re: Mask types and numbers.... it's a fun ride
I too have notice that while the full face mask felt great (Quattro) and had very little leaks my numbers have been much higher. I will head back to the Nasal Mask (Somno Plus) but keep the Quattro close for nights where congestion makes the Somno unusable. I don't know why there is a difference in ...

Re: The phone!
I was in the military for 24 years but would never let that interfere with my wifes well being. I carried one of the first truly mobile phones of the day until my doctor restricted the use 24/7 does have health consequences. Sounds to me that you need an answering machine and counseling if that beco...

Re: Software question
Copying data to the card does not effect the data stored on the machine. I bought my software and reader through CpapAustralia http://www.cpapaustralia.com.au/shopping/cpap-download-software.htm You can order their software and card reader combo for 200.oo and about 35.00 shipping it takes about a w...

Re: no insurance getting desperate.
Without a Sleep Study it hard to know if you could find the right pressure without a data capable machine and software to read it. When you were diagnosed did they give you a copy of the sleep study and RX?

Re: Call the police, I'm being raped !!!
Did you consider bringing this complaint to your insurance company. Just why do they allow a charge so far above the market price for such an item. Its a hose! Since you not only pay the inflated co-pay you also pay for the insurance. Your state has an insurance commisioner and you have a congressma...
