Newbie-what software is compatible w/Autoset II?
Hi, I mention this in my "newbie needing help with data" post but for those who don't want to wade through all the details, I wanted to post this question about software for getting detailed data from my Autoset II. I don't have software but know I need a better handle on my data and would like to f...

Newbie (Marilyn) needing help with settings
Hi folks, I would like some help understanding my data from last night. This is the first time I have looked at it using the clinician settings. I don't have software but know I need a better handle on my data and would like to find out what software is compatible with my Resmed Autoset II. Also can...

Re: POLL: How many hours actual sleep time a night do you get?
My mind wants to take things literally and also wants to over analyze everything so of course a poll worded as "loophole-y" as yours, basically short circuits my brain after just one reading...and then I keep reading it over and over, making things even worse. I know I am my own worst enemy...more ...

Re: POLL: How many hours actual sleep time a night do you get?
I tried to give you enough loopholes. For one thing, the question in the title of the thread doesn't quite match the question of the poll. For another, how can someone be silly enough to ask for an estimate of an average then put "every night" in the poll question? Was I drunk? Not to mention that ...

Re: HOW DO YOU WEAR YOUR SWIFT LT?
I wear mine just hanging down, tonight I might try putting that tube on top of my head, and see what happens, I really never thought about this. I clip my hose in the little holder on the top of my head and then run the hose to a plant hanger up above the head of my bed. Then the hose runs down to ...

Re: Need help with the Swift LT Nasal pillows
If you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and see the ResMed logo imprinted in the skin under your nose, you know you had the nasal pillows inserted in the mask upside down. But you probably won't make it to morning if that is the case because wearing the pillows like that hurts and no am...

Re: Do you use a battery backup? if so what type?
Why don't you look into using the ResMed DC-12 converter? https://www.cpap.com/productpage/DC-12-Inverter.html It is more efficient than an inverter, and is designed for use with the autoset II. It is not inexpensive at ~$80 but is less costly then some of the previously mentioned options. That's w...

Re: Do you use a battery backup? if so what type?
For my machine, I needed something like this: http://www.dcacpowerinverters.com/customkititems.asp?kc=APS30012-8AWG . I attached it to an Optima marine battery and I could run it for three days if needed. I live in the woods and we have had 3-day outages before so I figured I better be prepared. I ...

Re: Do you use a battery backup? if so what type?
Hi, If you are going to by out and about without access to power for a week, then you had better look into getting a set of 6 volt Heavy duty batteries and have them hooked up like a RV. I don't have the unit that you have but, I think that you need a special 12 volt convert. I suggest that you nee...

Check this one out at about $140 for a 28 Amp-Hour (600W series) (should runabout 6 hours on a full charge if using xPAP and heated Humidity on M-Series setup and direct DC - no inverter) ://www.amazon.com/Duracell-DPP-600HD-Powerpack-Starter-Emergency/dp/B000TKHMWK/ref=pd_sim_auto_2 How many hours...

Re: Ultra Mirage vs Quattro - one night's observation
....And yes, I have had that same "too much CO2" experience with the Quattro, especially if I'm ramping up to full pressure and maybe a little breathless when I put the mask on (have just bounded up the stairs and leapt into bed or something like that). You do realize that a sleep therapist would t...

Re: Nasal pillow masks
I have the Swift LT and really like it, but it has started to irritate my nares. Does anyone have a recommendation to prevent irritation? Tony The first night I used the Swift LT for Her my nares felt raw and I knew I couldn't stand that another night of that kind of discomfort. So I bought Lansino...
