What on earth do you do, when you know someone who flat out refuses to see a doctor for apnea? A friend of mines husband has it, and he won't go see a doctor for it. Others have gotten the escape and when they posted here they were encouraged to go back to the provider and get the elite. The elite also has EPR which makes exhaling easier. The escape II has EPR also, but i switched my machine from the Escape II to the Elite II and i couldn't be happier i suggest...

One thing I can say, is have your friend strap on his mask, and set his pressure to full throttle, and see if his mask is on properly, that could be one thing, and second make sure he's not draw dropping and causing leaks also... Make sure his mask isn't too small too... hope you can help!
