Re: Adapter for different diameter tubing?
have a 22mm connector and all CPAP hoses have a soft rubbery 22mm connector on the mask end should help you figure out what you're missing. What I was missing was removing the female-female adapter at the end of my main hose. It's been there so long I forgot it isn't part of the hose. Duh! Once rem...

Adapter for different diameter tubing?
I just got a ResMed Swift FX headgear, which seemed very nice in a test fitting, but the short tube attached to it is too small a diameter to fit on the end of the 6-foot Respironics (?) hose attached to my machine. Are there any adapters or did I just waste a bunch of money (can't return it once op...

Re: What's wrong with my CPAP?
I got that message on my Remstar Pro after 12,712 hours and could not see any issues by sight when I took it apart. Is this unit safe to take apart? I took apart a Solo LX and when I put it back together the outer case wouldn't seal tight properly anymore. It was loose no matter what I did with the...

Technically, it's used with 0 hours.Wulfman wrote: I'm a little curious as to how you got a "new" Legacy Auto. There haven't been any (new ones) available on the market since around December of 2007.

Re: What's wrong with my CPAP?
Sounds like you need to return it for a replacement. What a pain that is! http://a1149861.sites.myregisteredsite.com/dead_ahead_sign.gif The real pain is that this is on a weekend and I can't get anybody to replace it until Monday, which probably means I'd have a replacement Tuesday at the earliest...

Re: What's wrong with my CPAP?
Which "REMstar Auto"? Older Legacy model or the newer M Series? Does it have a power brick? Is everything connected properly? Have you tried it in another outlet? Are you "hooked up" to it when it does that? Have you gone through (checked) the settings in the "Setup" menu? It's a Legacy, no power b...

What's wrong with my CPAP?
It's a new REMStar Auto. The blower motor won't spin up properly. It barely spins up before stopping. That is retried a few times and then it permanently quits with an Error 80. Is there some way to troubleshoot this or is my unit DOA? It was supposedly tested before delivery.
