Ahhhh...makes sense. I have and LOVE the Swift...I was just wondering if there was a compelling reason to "upgrade". I really don't mind the noise of the exaust of the Swift....as for my wife....the sound of the exhaust is MUCH quieter than my lawnmower-engine-like snoring....

Started around the age of 25 for me (29 now)....had lots of problems staying awake while driving...I also had to sneak lots of naps in during the workday. My snoring got worse and worse from about 21 onward. At the peak...I was snoring about as loud as a really 'turned up' alarm clock...it's was ver...

It took me about 6 months to get to the point where I really noticed the difference between sleeping w/ the CPAP and w/out the CPAP.....I really dread the occasions without. Getting my Swift to the point where I was fitting it correctly and having to adjust it less to some time..but it's all worth i...

Goodbye Remstar Plus.....

Thought this was interesting..... "The most popular sleep apnea system, prescribed by pulmonary doctors and sleep clinics, has been the Respironics Remstar Plus. This standard cpap system has stood the test of time, and has become an icon in the CPAP business........ With the recent release of Respi...

Astelin is a great, spray-in, type prescription med. It really helps with sinus swelling and general congestion. I also use Liquibed-D (guaifenesin) to control deeper head congestion...and the sinu-cleanse neti-pot stuff is really helpful too.

Positive Apria story!

A few night ago, I realized that my 6-ft CPAP hose had sprung a few leaks....so I called the local Apria office and inquired as to how to get a new one. They informed me that they actually don't handle the CPAP stuff out of the Dallas office..but then directed me to the Irving office. So I called th...

I have chronic allergies...and have found that the sinuclense rinse is probably the best treatment for related congestion that I have come across... And it does help w/ my comfort level when using my Swift. If you realllly want to clear up...rinse out your sinuses...and then take a hot bath with a f...

In many cases, that is an indication that the mask is too tight. However, sometimes that is what is required to get a good seal (I went though that a while back...with the same nose-bridge issues). Some people will place a band-aid or tape on the bridge of their nose to reduce the swelling or reacti...
