Re: Resvent Ibreze Inconsistent Air Pressure
You are unlikely to get very many, if any, real people experience who use this brand machine. So you are drawing from a teeny tiny market at least here on this forum. I only remember one member here who uses this machine. Well I wasn’t aware of that so thanks for pointing that out. I do plan on cal...

Resvent Ibreze Inconsistent Air Pressure
So I just got this machine and I’ve notice this crazy thing going on. At times it feels almost like what I think a bipap machine would feel like - two pressures, one when breathing in and a different when breathing out. Not only that it’s like it flutters even at times, sometimes even waking me up i...

Re: Ahi Numbers on Machine?
Ok thanks. Large leaks says 0. I had searched for some info and all I was finding was numbers like 5, etc. so the0.3 was throwing me off. I didn't know if that was a percentage or was reported differently or something or really was just that low. Makes sense now though. Good to know at least from th...

Ahi Numbers on Machine?
Trying to figure out what my AHI numbers mean on my machine - it gives me a reading for 1,7, and 30 days. 7 days is 0.3 - what exactly does that mean?

Re: New Machine:New Feature??
Thanks for all the info. I'm gonna have to go do some reading because I don't know what c-flex is. I saw that on the menu, but again that wasn't explained to me either. All I knew on my last machine was constant pressure! And I was used to that! Ha.

Re: New Machine:New Feature??
Thanks so much for the info. The lady that set it up for me didmt tell me about this feature. I had no clue! It's fine once I'm asleep but trying to go to sleep was a bit difficult last night. At times it almost felt like a vacuum effect when I would exhale - very weird. I was used to the pressure o...

New Machine:New Feature??
I just had another study done - hadn't had one since my original one about 7 years ago ang have lost about 70 pounds so I needed my pressure adjusted. I dropped from a 19 to a 12. I was pretty shocked. Anyway I picked up m new machine last night, the resprionics remstar auto a-flex, and it has this ...

Re: Weight Loss/Air in Stomach??
Yeah, that's what I'm worried about - I'm wondering if I can just stick it out a bit longer until I've lost that last 50 lbs. I mean, I've made it this far, but I can tell the weight loss has made a difference. I'm not sure what my insurance covers either though. My last insurance was great and cove...

Re: Weight Loss/Air in Stomach??
Unfortunately, no I don't have a data-capable machine. I was supposed to (long story), but I don't.

Weight Loss/Air in Stomach??
I've recently lost between 75-80lbs, and I still have about 50/60 to go, maybe a little more to get down to where I want to be. When I first started CPAP, I weighed 365, and I probably gained a little more after that - started out with a pressure of 19. I'm now down around 290. At what point do you ...

Re: Tired of CPAP!!
[quote="rooster" How will a doc know what is going on in your bed at night? What are the chances of getting a data-capable machine, card reader, and software[/quote] Well given what little I know, it is my understanding that I can't get a machine with out a referral/prescription for the machine for ...

Re: Tired of CPAP!!
Thanks for all the information (again). I know surgery isn't an option for me, my sleep doc sent me to some other doc for a consult, but he knew before seeing me that I woudln't be a good candidate for it because my apnea is so bad (pressure of 19). I did find out something the other night though. M...

Re: Tired of CPAP!!
I realize that I haven't been back here to read/reply like I'd like. No, no one scared me off. Things been really busy here. I don't know what to say really. Maybe it is just a "attitude" thing, as someone put it. Was I looking for help? I don't know, maybe just some understanding that other people ...

Re: Tired of CPAP!!
Sure! The mask is like a little cocoon of solitude. The rhythm of the machine lulls me to sleep. Snug as a bug! I don't think I could sleep WITHOUT a mask now that I'm used to it. I used to think like that...right now I think I'm just tired of it. I see my wife just hope in the bed, not making sure...
