I use the CPAP machine for about 12 years. I've had no real problems with it. I try not to let the humidifier get cruddy.
Another comment, reading this board is more fun than it should be. There is a real collection of characters here. Thank you for the entertainment and good advice.

After 48 days
I’ve just returned from seeing technician after 48 days of the CPAP machine. It was amazing the amount of information collected by that card. I was commended on adapting it the machine and using it on a daily basis, even for naps. They seemed surprised that the number of episodes was only reduced fr...

Re: Drying the hose
I have not used the machine for very long. I think that moisture left in the morning can be blown out by simply looking at up for a short while. I've been hanging the hose over shower rod. It is dry by the time I go to bed. My test for its dryness is to simply flick the ends toward my hands. For now...

Re: new to cpap
From reading the replies here and reading elsewhere, it looks like a got a good deal in the machine my provider set me up with. I also got more than enough instruction on it's use. All in All; guess I got a good deal. I don't have reader for my card, though. LarryJay Does your machine actually LOOK...

Re: Condensate
Thanks to all of you who have added insight to this problem. I'll experiment with the humidifier settings particular on the lower end. I not that last night was probably the coldest in the house. A Florida 'cold' spell. Interestingly, though, the seepage was coming outside of the mask. When I wake u...

Condensate
On my third night I experienced a different problem. I felt dripping. I figured it was concentrate form my exhaled breath. It wasn't a problem on the nights before. The Humidifier was set on 3. I don't think I can seal the mask much tighter without causing pain. Some of the seepage may be caused by ...

Re: My first follow up appointment
I am probably not one to talk or post on this subject after only a few nights. I have experienced leaks. My mask is a comfort gel variety. I can usually tell if I am leaking by a slight breeze or chill in the area. A slight adjustment, a tug or a pull, usually corrects the problem. Sometime, I have ...

Re: new to cpap
Hello, I am even newer to CPAP. I just finished my third night. The machine you describe and are inquiring about is probably the one that I have. It has a humidifier and settings for adjusting the exhale pressure. You do not have to be technically savvy to operate it. Distilled water is used in the ...
