nasal pillow to full face Problem!!
I have been having problems with nasal congestion and end up using afrin everyday before bed. ( I work nights). This works, mostly.... but lately not totally. I tend to get one side to clear and can move enough air to sleep that way but its not as nice as when both sides are clear. I use nasal pillo...

Re: Help?
I really appreciate all the help. I know that I am entitled to a copy of my scrip, just never got one. I also already bought my own filters, 2 years worth same as you. Didn't know that my PCP could write scrips for cpap stuff but it makes sense. I had pretty good luck at the lab when I talked with h...

Re: Help?
I should also mention that the Afrin trick works.... but I don't think I am supposed to use it that often. 5x perweek is probably too much.

Help?
a little help needed.... Been on the hose for about 10 months. Doing really well with therapy I use the swift nasal pillow and it works really well, except when I have a cold. I have to dump afrin into my nose every time I go to sleep... with my alergies on top of that this becomes more days than no...

Re: allergy help!
Have you cnsidered adding an air purifier to your bed room? Sort of to pre - filter your air? I have two running in the bedroom..... but the window is open cause I hate to turn on the ac when its only 55-75 outside. This problem flared up a bit yesterday and as of right now I have taken the max dos...

allergy help!
So a few weeks ago I posted that I thought my cpap was making me sick.... I changed the little foam filter at the back and by the next day I was better! I have crazy bad allergies and live with two cats that didn't bother me before cpap. My meds had controlled the allergies well enough. Now that I a...

Re: water additives??
Ok, thanks folks. i just thought it sounded good but I can see your points that its not. Netti pot eh? i don;t think I could do that. I am not convinced that those air purifiers work.... is there one specifically that you could point me to so I could do some research?

Re: Is my cpap making me sick???
So I think I may have partially solved the issue..... I finally got up and took away the humidifier, my nose and sinuses cleared within a minute! perhaps, my water was either contaminated, or it was just too much moisture. I am going to try the passover technique today.... will see how that works.

Is my cpap making me sick???
I have had allergies all my life. I have been on cpap for a couple of months now and am feeling way better than I have in years. Now, I admit i don't clean my gear like I should but I use only distilled water in my unit and was told I can clean less often because of this. There is no residue or any ...

Re: would like to know...
Ramp is not being used so thats not the issue. I always used to sleep on my back which is the most comfortable for me. I can only sleep on my right side now (last 15 years or so) due to the apnea. My body has grown so accustomed to that position that any other is impossible. I wake with terrible hip...

Re: Any Suggestions on First Night
I'm new too about 4 days in... I wake a few times as well due to leaks. I just readjust and go back to sleep. my guess is, as time goes by we'll move a little less and the leaks will be fewer. Good job on the 9.5!! i am only getting 7-7.5 but I feel totally rested and don't think I need much more th...
