Re: New Machine
I'm still on the fence. I called the sleep dr and asked for a script for an apap set to cpap. So I'll know more on that tomorrow. But I would really like to hear from other users. When I got my original machine Resperonics was a machine to be wary of. Sounds like they have made a come back.

Re: My time in cpap land
I have also been interduced to the Resmed swit I think it is. Its the nasal mask that looks like a tube on the bottom with pillows resting on it. I like this new mask almost better then the Liberty. Hi, Thanks for sharing the story. I think you mean the "Swift". They make a few different types. I u...

Re: My time in cpap land
My current DME supplier is a pain in the rear to work with. They go off of the Medicare guidelines for when I should get new supplies. After repeated calls from to my Insurance company, I have been advised that if i have a need for it, I can get it and it will be covered. I can have a new Machine a ...

Re: Citris Wipes versus mild soap washing
So the Alcohol dosnt hurt the seal in any way? I have access to thousands of alcohol pads.Gerryk wrote:I too find washing daily with a mild soap and washing the face before going to bed is best. Sometimes I also use a makeup wipe with alcohol on it to clean my face a little better.

Humidifier Water Question
I was wondering if you could use Reverse osmosis water in the Humidifier? I know that im supposed to use distilled water, and i would not dare use my tap water. I am on a well that has a lot of sulpher and iron in the water. It does go through a water softner. But i dont know how well the RO would g...

Re: DME Troubles
If that $15 is sposed to come from your pocket, ask your insurance about that practice too. Most times any extra payments are forbidden. Sounds like the DME is looking for money from your insurance then an additional $15 from you? With my insurance, I have to cover 20%. Ive meet the deductible with...
