Re: 1 week in...
Shark, You and I have the same equipment, same pressure setting of "10," and the same time frame of 10 days on cpap!! I also had my Mseries Humid set on "2" and was getting rainout 2 times, I have now set it on "1" and its perfect, may even try turing it off. Ive had the same issues of opening my mo...

Re: Full Mask or Nasal...ARRRGGHHHHHHH!
Randy, Sounds like you and I are in the same boat...in some ways! Yeah my 7 day average (Because the M Series only does 7 day average unless you reset it everyday) is 33.5. This troubled me when I first saw this but I believe it was REsted Gal who told me to look at the owners manual that comes with...

Re: CPAP and Ambien
You guys have a point about the deepness of sleep on Ambien.....maybe that is what is causing me to sleep so deep im breathing out of my mouth??? I think tonight I will try Tylenol PM instead. I only have samples of Ambien, 1 pill left anyway so if the Tylenol PM works then I should be good to go. H...

Re: CPAP and Ambien
Ive been on my cpap now for a little over a week now. Ive been taking Ambien CR the whole time, mainly because for 32 years ive never had this aperatus on my head and air being shoved down my nose! haha Honestly, I dont think I could fall asleep without Tylenol PM or Ambien. Ive NEVER taken any slee...

Re: Full Mask or Nasal...ARRRGGHHHHHHH!
Larry, Thanks for the reply...are you a stomach sleeper by any chance?? I was using the Mirage Mirco Nasal but that was killing me when I would try and roll over. From what it sounds like (from my g/f) I am either breathing through my mouth or just opening it up naturally and when I do, the air flow...

Re: a suggestion to eliminate rainout
Mrs Tatis ( I say Mrs loosely), Since ive been on this board, people like Rested Gal, Carbonman, Wulfman and others have helped me make it through this rough time and help me with a lot of confusion. Your rank language and negativity in your previous posts is not welcome here by me, and honestly my ...

Full Mask or Nasal...ARRRGGHHHHHHH!
Ok ya'll, As some of you know, ive been on my cpap now for about a week. My leak rate with the Mirage Swift LT Nasal Pillow has been averaging 33.5, which is right in line with the leak rate for that mask, which tells me im not getting much leakage. I have been starting off on my back and wait until...

Re: Day 4 results so far.......questions
SleepIndy.... Thanks I just read my manual for my Swift LT...it says that if I have a pressure setting of 8-12 (mines 10) you should have a leak rate of 28-33 (mines 33!!) So im right on par for the standard exhalation leak rate...no wonder I felt so good this morning, even though I woke up at 3AM b...

Re: Day 4 results so far.......questions
Hi Karen, Yeah I bought a Resmed Tubing wrap at a local DME 2 days ago because I didn't want to wait for cpap.com delivery! Its blue and has a zipper the whole length of the tube.....its VERY thick, almost too thick I think because the flexibility is almost nil. I do have to say that the LT Swift II...

Day 4 results so far.......questions
HI ya'll, Ok so last night was my 3rd night using the M Series Pro with Humid. Again, my setting is on a 10 and humidifier on a 2. My biggest problem so far is the rainout in my tube the last 2 nights. I keep my room VERY cold and added a tube cover 2 days ago..still getting water in my tube (woke m...

Re: First night complete on M Series and Mirage Micro
Gerald, I just spoke to the Dr.'s assistant who told me first, I need to give this Nasal mask at least until Friday before I could come back in and exchange this mask out. I told her that the leak rate for last night was .33, the unit is BRAND NEW and last night was the first night...she said wow th...

First night complete on M Series and Mirage Micro
Ok so I used my new M Series w/ Humid and Mirage Micro Nasal last night....I wish I could say I woke up today running 15 miles but I didn't and heres why: 1. Like most of you said, the humidity setting almost drowned me this morning, haha! I set it on a "2.5" at my Dr.'s recommendation, well it was ...
