Re: Losing weight and having mask problems

Thanks for your quick answers. My insurance doesn't cover anything CPAP, so I have to either buy my own mask (like I did with the Ultra Mirage) or beg for one to be donated by someone or some company. Luckily I caught the President of Hans Rudolph in a giving day last time and he had them send me a ...

Losing weight and having mask problems

I lost somewhere around 45 pounds and I was wondering how much trouble that might cause my masks not fitting right. I usually use my Hans Rudolph but that leaked air the last time I used it. It was the first time it leaked ever... Could it be the weight loss? My face and neck have gotten visibly sma...

Re: OT Sort of: My colonoscopy and CPAP

I was wondering if there is a difference between Obstructive sleep apnea and Central Sleep Apnea when it comes to using those drugs like Versed. I was supposed to get a colonoscopy, but I put it off until another day-week-month, I guess I shouldn't, I'll be 51 in December and this will be my first.

Re: pets

When i started reading these posts I was real upset because I thought someone was going to try and hook a cat up to a cpap machine, but I hope they were kidding. I hope! But after reading all the cute posts about peoples beloved cats and dogs, I think I changed my mind about that post. I love hearin...

Re: Mask for Sale: $1450.00

Hey ia1234, What did you do with those $5000 worth of masks that you have? Since they don't work for you and it seems you already spent that money and can't get it back, why not donate the masks to people that cannot afford new masks, or masks at all? You could probably even get something for donati...

Re: Mask for Sale: $1450.00

Hey ia1234 are you a real person or just a spammer person? I went to the site you recommended and there is nothing there except for drawn pictures of what this mask supposed to look like. Not one mask or any info is provided, It sure seems like a bunch of BS to me. If it were a real place with real ...

Re: Oral Appliance

Seems suspicious to me. I never trust anyone that doesn't have the "Posts: Joined: Location: Gender:" information filled out and especially if they don't have either the pictures of their CPAP machine & mask or the kind of CPAP machine and masks written out below their post. Am I too cynical or what...

Re: Awful, awful, awful, awful night--but there is always hope!

I'm finally over whatever it was that I had. Hooray! Thanks for all you well wishers. I felt like I was dying for a while. The following day I woke up with a very sore throat and then I pounded down megadoses of vitamin C (Emergen-C is great stuff!) and finally today I woke up and I was all better. ...

Re: Respironics Performance Tubing--Worth the money?

I love the new photos! That cap is just too sexy! I think I'll have to go take a cold shower now! (just teasing! It's too cold in here to take a cold shower!) I just got one of those hoses and it makes a big difference. I can't even feel this new hose dragging the mask off my face like I felt the re...

Re: Awful, awful, awful, awful night--but there is always hope!

Was it full moon or something last night? I had a very rough night too. I woke up throwing up... thankfully I had fallen to sleep without my cpap mask on, but I did still inhale some of it (I hate that!) So I woke up with a fever of 101.8, which isn't that bad. Usually when I breath in barf it's a f...

Re: "Prescription coupon".

I also have chronic pain from 3 failed back surgeries and one neck surgery. My doctor said my vitamin D level was the lowest he had ever seen! He started me out on 50,000 IU for 2 weeks (prescription) then switched to one every third day or so, then my level was back up again and he said just to mak...

Re: "Prescription coupon".

By the way, I guess this would take a cell phone too, right? I think it's amazing that this person thinks everyone has a cell phone. Or am I the only one that doesn't have a cell phone. I can't be the only person left on earth that does not have a cell phone... Or am I? You know, here is something t...

Re: Resmed VPAP adapt SV for Central Sleep Apnea

You might want to skip my rant. Please, don't take it personally. I am grateful for having a place to live, even with the smoke. For a while I was homeless and that really sucked. I don't see how I could use a CPAP machine if I'm living in a cardboard box under a bridge somewhere. I've lived around ...

Re: "Prescription coupon".

If you do a google search for "TXTCPN to 368266" this exact same post comes up on many different health based forums and message boards... even down to the "cheers" at the end. This sounds like some sort of scam or virus or something. I'm wondering if maybe this post should be taken down because it ...

Drinking Sleepytime Tea and going to bed! Everyone else can worry about the government. They do what they want to do, they don't care about anyone... I'd rather sleep.
