Re: ACR38 / ResScan
Thank you Tom and jdm for helping me out. I finally got it working. I have no explanation for the problem. I did several uninstall-reinstall cycles, re-booted several times, and it started working when I killed several processes including devicescan2.exe. I am not a big windows fan. Now is the time...

Re: ACR38 / ResScan
I have mine working with Vista sp2. Just installed the Rescan 3.7 software and the reader worked. UAC off and ran as admin.
There shouldn't be any issues with XP. What issues are you seeing?
I can't find any reference to the 3.8 version anywhere.

Re: humidity
How hard is it to turn off the machine for 10 sec to take a drink? You are already fumbling with the cap on the bottle, gust reach over and hit the button on the machine too.

Re: Rescan 3.7 detail data -changing computers
It appears to me that all data for a particular patient is in the folder C:\Program Files\ResMed'ResScan3\Patients\LastName,FirstName. (Of course drive letter (C:) and LastName,Firstname will vary depending on your installation, and your name.) Have you copied all of the files in this folder? I was...

Rescan 3.7 detail data -changing computers
Does anyone know the process to backup and restore detailed data from one PC to another?
When I try to do it I only get the summery data, and I would like to save my last 5 months of detailed data before I reformat the machine.
It's probably something easy I am overlooking.

Re: POLL-How much do you use your humidifier????
I have completely stopped using the humidifier (and I still get condensation), at least during the summer months. I anticipate I will use it only winter (Dec, Jan, Feb), but we will see.

Re: CPAP and Glaucoma
My eye doctor told me he wants to see me every year now instead of 2 years, because of the increased chance of glaucoma, although he said the studies so far were not conclusive.

Re: Resmed VPAP Auto Users - Question
Thanks Slinky for the detailed post. I guess I am out of luck since my machine only has Spontaneous mode. I may try to adjust the rise time a bit, and see what happens.

Re: Resmed VPAP Auto Users - NOT Resmed VPAP Auto 25 - Question
I have the Resmed VPAP S which is spontaneous only. Ipap:16 Epap:12 I think I may be having a similar issue to what you are describing. I don't have anything to really compare it too though. If I don't have my Full Face mask on tight enough when I inhale my mask burps just about every breath (happen...

Re: Chin up strips revisited
Any pic's to post yet? I'm am thinking about trying these. Anyone Else try them? Like them? Didn't work for anyone? I wounder if you can buy a smaller amount than a 30pack, but I might just spend the $15 for 30 to give it a try. That an shipping will end up being a higher percentage of the cost in s...

Re: Taping my mouth with a FFM!!!
Anyone heard of this??? I am using a Mirage Quattro mask, and if I don't tape my mouth shut I wake up to find my lower lip resting OUTSIDE the mask!!! No leaking, just mask misaligned and dry, dry, arid mouth. What's up with that? Yes, it fits. It's a small. Didn't have this problem at first. Only ...

Re: Nose Itches
BAH! I just got a Quatro to try. I still have a lot of leak and dry mouth issues with the Liberty. Now I have to turn the machine off 2-3 times a night to ITCH my nose. I will try the Popsicle stick and face rubbing suggestions. On top of that my mouth is even dryer with the Quatro than the Liberty....

This is the chin strap I use: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/premium-chinstrap-mouthleak.html Also, after starting to use the strap, I have dropped the humidity from full to about 2 tick marks (about one fifth of full) and no longer get rainout like i was at full. The rainout was causing major lea...
