Treatment Evaluation Question?
Trying to make sure I understand something: I have the ResMed S8 Escape - for two weeks today - is there any monitoring software for that? I am trying to understand just HOW my treatment success is/can be evaluated at this point. I mean I sleep with the darn thing on all night each night - but I am ...

I am having pretty good luck - but big rainout problem night before last helped my turning the humidifier lower last night - and last night I tried without the chin strap only to awaken to mouth...

Me again! Last night - number 4 - this time with the chinstrap which I seemed to tolerate pretty well...awoke only once an hour or so in to use the restroom and then - total uninterrupted sleep 'til the alarm went off. No outward evidence of leaks...no reported sounds or arousals from my bedmate.......

Third night last night and big success as far as wearing it from 10:30 pm to 5:30 am - that's the whole enchilada for me so that's great . But I did awaken many times - and am SURE I was mouth breathing at least two of the times...the chinstrap I ordered yesterday from cpap.com was just delivered - ...

rested gal - thanks so much for your comments. You are so helpful and it is greatly appreciated.....I plan to watch for the mouth breathing and have already placed an order for a chinstrap if needed - I'm still running from the taping solution since I have a beard and mustache - and I guess it is EA...

Thanks for the replies! I left the power on this morning without any worries - lol. Second cpap night was last night. I received my humidifier yesterday and believe it really helped last night. I awoke fewer times and kept the mask on the entire night pretty comfortably. My bedmate indicated that th...

Thanks for the suggestion! I finally received my machine yesterday (though not the humidifier yet) so I made it though a pretty good first night - kept it on 5.5 hours but awoke often - I have a pressure of 10 and ramped each time for 20 minutes - I wonder if I was waking up to the pressure of 10 an...

New Guy - CPAP first week questions
Hello everyone from Houston!. I am getting my second sleep study Saturday night - with the CPAP - diagnosed after sleep study a few weeks ago following lab reports indicating hypoxia (and reports from my partner of apnea episodes all the time). I really struggled during the ten minute CPAP "show and...
