I had a high AHI a couple of nights ago, 8.6. I had been consistently under 5. I had taken a Tylenol PM before going to sleep
. I just wondered if Tylenol PM could do the same thing as Benedryl???

Re: newbie with lots of questions
mattman is right. I have been using my Auto-pap since January. I started with many of the same problems. Things will get better as your body and your mind adjust. I found just recently that I could drop my IPAP from 14 to 12. This helped with the aerophagia. The main thing is to be patient and hang ...

Re: Resmed VPAP Auto Users - Question
Slinky, I have the same machine as you. Settings are IPAP 14, EPAP 10, in SPONT mode. I have experienced the same feeling in transition from inhale to exhale. I have tried going ahead and forcing my exhale longer through the exhale and it kicks back in to inhale mode. My next breath was longer. I do...

Respiratory rate question
I had something unusual show up on my ReScan report last night. From 3 AM to about 4 AM my respiratory rate was over 40 BPM. My titrated inspiration pressure is 14, expiration is 10. The respiratory rate numbers for last night were: Median: 16 95th Percentile: 41 Maximum: 43 % Spontaneous triggered ...

ResScan 3.7 question
I just received my Card Reader and ResScan 3.7 Software. Program loaded fine and upload as well. The only problem I am having is not being able to get the detailed graphs that show up when DME used to download my card. I see the detailed graph tab but when I click on it I get the message "no detaile...

Re: ResMed VPAP Auto 25 - Sweet Machine?
I have been on the ResMed VPAP Auto 25 for a month now. It is a very nice machine, my first machine though so I have nothing to compare it with. I am still new and adjusting to the whole lifestyle, but this thing is amazing how it adjusts itself as you continue to use it. I am looking forward to get...

Re: DME visit
Sorry folks, that was a typo; EPAP 14 (Just reduced to 13 today) IPAP 10. You all are right about the clueless thing. I did not get much help. As soon as I reach deductible I am going to ask my doc to write a prescription or recommend the reader for the ResScan data card and software. I'll take all ...

DME visit
I going to see my DME to download my Smart Card for the first 30 days. I have the ResMed VPAP Auto 25. Are there any questions I need to ask? I am swallowing quite a bit of air during the night. Easy Breathe has not been activated, I am thinking of having that turned on. Any advice is greatly apprec...
