I shut off the biflex, ramp and the auto function as well. It's running bipap mode only. I found using the auto bipap mode triggered events with lower pressures before it ramped up the pressure. It was a cycle....

What laws? First all one had to do is hold down the increase, decrease buttons and power up the unit. That unlocks the setting. Second, neither the doctor or Resperonics can be held responsible if the end user changes the settings from the original script. What's stopping someone from taking a whole...

I've been a 431 user for over 2 years with good results and recently tried the 432. I didn't like the interior foam padding because it irritated my nose bridge. So I trimmed out the foam to fit which helped some what. It works ok but found its difficult to get the foam padding to seal right and it's...

Funny thing is anyone can turn on a Resperonics and access the machine's settings without the software. My new DME rep showed me how and gave me all the manuals to boot! Bottom line is Resperonics doesn't make money selling software It's a low end sideline product. They make money selling machines. ...

Interesting. I have a Resperonics bipap auto and previously used a Resperonics bipap pro2. Never had either just shut off for no reason. I would suspect it's more likely losing 120 volt power momentarily then restarting with the "auto on" feature. Most people... me included... use an 5 or 6 gang out...

It's possible the machine waits 15 minutes to make sure it's not going to be restarted then transfers the data to the smart card. Why... who knows? I would be willing to bet the machine's data isn't transfer on a continuous basis to the smart card. I have a bipap auto and can remove the card as soon...

I have a large HR 7600 and it didn't work for me so I went back to my tired and true FP431. Spent $200 for the HR and used (attempted) it only a few times. Spent allot of time fooling and modify the mesh head gear. Will sell it for $75 minus the head gear. I understand a new design style head gear i...

There is really only a few of ways to figure out if the settings are correct. First, if you have the ablity to down load your machine's data take a look at the AHI numbers. Second, is how you are feeling in the morning i.e., feeling rested or not. Unless you can down load the data it's really a crap...

I had the same problem when I switched to a auto bipap from a Pro 2 bipap. After a year on bipap my AHI's averaged consistant 1.5 to 2. On the auto bipap my AHI's shot up to 6-10 range. No amount of tinkering with pressures seemed to help. After carefully looking at the nightly data the only thing I...

I've accidently run mine empty and the smell is comes from heating the residue left over from the water... nothing more. Now I sightly over fill the tank to prevent this from happening especially in the winter months when the RH% is very low. _________________ CPAPopedia Keywords Contained In This P...

I have had nothing but horrible dealings with Apria. Apria in Connecticut is soooo bad on service my insurance company, ConnectiCare dropped them as a DME supplier due to numerous complaints. My sleep doctor refused to use them. It's the worst DME to deal with.... staffed with untrained employees th...
