Re: 2 nights in a row

Make it 3 nights now - 7 hours last night, lights out to alarm clock. I'm falling asleep easily. And joy of joys - when the clock has gone off the last 3 mornings, my first instinct has NOT been to hit the snooze button. I can actually set the clock for the time I plan to get up, not 45 minutes ahea...

Re: Mask question

definitely get another even for just a backup in case this one breaks and who knows, you may find that one mask that lets you get a full 8 hours sleep comfortably. I should have added that the 6 hours has been lights out to alarm clock - I had 2 late nights and only had 6 hours or a little more to ...

Re: Mask question

Thanks for the reply! I really need a full-face mask - bad allergies and chronic congestion - and I know there are other full face masks out there. I think I am just scared to give up what has (for the past 2 nights at least) turned out to be good after all! But then there may be something that work...

Mask question

OK, I was fitted with a Comfort Gel FF mask on Dec. 22nd. I had some struggles with leaks along the way, and was only averaging about 3 hours a night with the mask on, until the last 2 days - no leaks, great sleep, 6+ hours with CPAP, good stuff. But last week I had called my RT to tell her I wanted...

Re: Sleep Log?

Thanks, y'all - I'll create one with the important info for now - I was just so pleased this morning that I slept from lights out till alarm clock - and kept the mask on all night - and realized that I want to be able to track this info - and I love making charts/graphs, so it will not be a problem ...

Sleep Log?

I want to keep track of how much I am sleeping/using CPAP each night (I do not yet have a data capable machine) - I can create a chart/log, but thought I would see if there is one out there already. Does anyone have one that they like?

Re: Help with interpreting sleep study

Hi, Julie - I have the reports from the split night sleep study only - I do not yet have a data capable machine. It may well be that there is nothing else I need to glean from the report other than what the sleep doc dictated - but I do have many pages of info from both halves of the study. I was en...

Help with interpreting sleep study

I would like to post my results so those who know more about these things can perhaps help guide me in my search for the right machine. I am not sure what exactly to scan and post - can anyone tell me which info is important?

OK, should be able to scan now - but still unsure as to which part of the report is important to post. Thoughts?

I think this may be a sign that I am too competitive . . . I want my age group to "win"! Go 46 - 50!

Re: Got the report and printouts from sleep study

Well of course my scanner choses today to malfunction - I'll keep working on it. I'm still not sure exactly which pages I should scan - I have the initial consulation report, the summary of the study from the sleep doc, and 2 sets of data - one from each half of the split study. That includes sleep ...

Got the report and printouts from sleep study

OK, I called the doctor's office Wednesday to request the records and they came in the mail Friday. I now have all of this information that I don't know what to do with! What information will help y'all help me as I work to get used to this therapy? I just don't know what to look at or how to interp...
