Re: Allergy to CPAP machine
I have been using RESMED ESCAPE S8 Cpap machine for almost a year. I have been using it with nasal pillow mask and I have also tried triangular nose mask. Whenever I use it, I get up in the morning with severe sneezing, runny nose, painful watery eyes which lasts for 2-3 days if I stop using CPAP. ...

Re: Fisher/Paykel Oral Mask
OK, used (tried to) the oracle mouth mask last night. What a disaster. I have patience and understand giving different things a "chance", but I knew in 2 hours that there was just no way this was going to work, for too many reasons to list here. So, next I try a Full Face mask. Wish me luck.

Re: Fisher/Paykel Oral Mask
I"m starting on the oracle mask tonight. Nasal mask has caused sneezing and runny nose during the day since I've had it, 6 months. If I can't use the oral mask, just wondering how the full face mask worked out for you?

Re: New CPAP user can't stop sneezing. Help!
-I am skeptical about the drying effect of cpap causing the allergy symptoms but I don't have an answer. -Typically FF masks are used by those of us who breathe or leak through the mouth for parts or all of the night. Nasal masks are smaller and typically more comfortable that FF mask. Therefore if...

Re: Nasal Irritation
I'm thinking about going from a nasal mask to a full face mask, but for one reason, and I'm hoping somebody here can help me. I've been on the cpap for 5 months, and have stuck with it. The problem is that I am having terrible problems with sneezing and a runny nose, many times for hours on end. Th...

Steve, I am not familiar with the Remstar Plus model but according to cpap.com there is no data card. How are you getting data? OK, I"m home now and checked and I was wrong. It's the REMstar Pro M series with heated humidifier and smart card. Sorry, new to this stuff. By the way, I went to my DME t...

Re: Nasal Mask to full face mask
Thanks, I appreciate the response. One thing, I didn't specify and obviously should have...the irony of the situation is that even though the cpap is the reason for my misery, the only time I do get any relief from these symptoms now is when I'm wearing the cpap. In other words, I don't have any pro...
