Re: Walgreen Options didn't measure up

I'm pretty sure that the tech you spoke with isn't the person in charge. Whoever that might be, you will be doing them a favor by telling them why you are taking your business elsewhere. Without that feedback, they will never improve. Just don't do it in anger... and let them use it as a "learning e...

Re: Does Memory Come Back?

This discussion reminds me of the "buffalo theory" which I found somewhere on the internet. It originally applied to alcohol, but could be adapted... On one episode of "Cheers!", Cliff is seated at the bar describing the Buffalo Theory to his buddy, Norm. I don't think I've ever heard the concept ex...

Re: EncorePro updates

Personally, I think you need to install the drivers for the card reader.

In many instances, the drivers will use USB and install a virtual serial port. The software will then find the "serial" port it is looking for.

Re: Swollen eyes and increased Carpal Tunnel symptoms from CPAP

I don't know about your eyes, but your wrist issues could come from the position you keep your hands when you sleep. At one point in time, I had wrist supports that I wore only when sleeping. They were softly padded and wrapped around my forearm and extended down to my palm. After a while, I figured...

Re: Diverting direction of exhalation air

Sorry, I don't have any experience with your type of mask.

In general, if it can't be fixed with baling wire or duct tape, the next best choice is superglue. YMMV.

Re: Discovered I can't sleep w/o cpap

A couple of weeks ago I went for a massage. I had a very hard time laying down. I kept concentrating on breathing and couldn't allow myself to relax. Might as well not bother with a massage again.

Re: CPAP Auction: Flipping should not be allowed?

The morals of this country and the world are going down the drain, this thread, with the very few responses, seem to prove it is. Sorry, lack of responses does not prove anything. AFAIK, it's against the rules of cpapauction.com and maybe even ebay to have more than one account. It certainly is NOT...

Re: CPAP Auction: Flipping should not be allowed?

I think the cpapauction site should change like Ebay did and prohibit sellers from leaving feedback on buyers. Because you can't leave an honest feedback without some sort of retaliation rating. I don't even leave a rating for anyone anymore until they leave one on mine. Yeah, unless things are ext...

Re: CPAP Auction: Flipping should not be allowed?

It is a very common practice for an active buyer/seller to have two different IDs. I do that on eBay for a couple of reasons (although changes in the way eBay works have diminished the necessity to do so). I used to follow one particular category of items and would look for incorrectly or inadequate...

Re: Its all a blank to me

Yeah, I was wondering about the machine. I even tried to see if there was a way to configure the machine to NOT use the card, but didn't see any documented way of doing (or undoing) that.

I'm betting on a bad card. Is there any way to determine if that's the case?

Re: Its all a blank to me

When I took the machine in, the tech tried to get data from the card, just shurgged, put the card back into my CPAP machine, and used the LCD for data. No new card, and she didn't act like it was any big deal. My card reader accesses the card (flashes the lights) when the software tells it to read t...

Its all a blank to me

Based on info here, I made the leap at getting a card reader and software for the smart card that lives in my Respironics M Pro CPAP machine. Strangely enough, it is all blank - there is nothing on the card, not even my ID. Ordinarily, in the troubleshooting process, I would suspect the reader or so...
