I had the same problem and solved it with moleskin. Moleskin can be found in most stores in the foot problem dept. I cut the moeskin and put it on the back of the straps and problem solved. Thanks to all that have replied. I do believe that I will contact the DME and mention that the mask and head gear are a matched set of one. May not make any difference, but should be interesting to hear what they have to say.

My doctor wrote a prescription for a new style mask (Full Life) FF. She sent said prescription to my DME and they called me to tell me that I could have the mask, but I was not due for a new headgear until November. I am a Medicare patient. Was not aware that one could control dreams. Can hardly wait to try and do it.
Wonderful to dream again since on cpap. Had occasional dreams before, but now nearly every night.
