It's not rainout, this is not condensation. What is happening is that when I turn on my CPAP machine the water in the humidifier starts to bubble and sputter, and the water travels up the hose. I have the humidifier turned to the lowest setting. I'll try wrapping the hose to keep it warm. Any other ...

water backing into hose
Help, I just got a mask I love, pillow mask, and twice now when I've turned on the machine the water starts gurggling and working its way up the hose. WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG, still a newbie.

Thanks for the replies. I think the real problem is a sinus cold, last night I had to turn the machine off because of cold issues. Boy, I missed it right away. I think I may invest in a chin strap also, I am a mouth breather and I'm so tired of cotton mouth in the morning.
