Re: sleeping better, but still must get up 1-2 times per night

Thanks! I think I finally have my equipment added into my profile. Maybe that will help those of you that have tried to help me! Never tried Detrol. Thought about it, but was hoping to avoid meds. However, I'm about to that point. Got up 4 times last night!!! Ridiculous! Happy New year to all!

Re: sleeping better, but still must get up 1-2 times per night

That all sounds like me!!!!! I had br. cancer at 28 with all of the treatments and side effects you've ever heard of! I also had to have complete hysterectomy. I think my bladder may be dropping. I'm only 33 now...more time will tell. But don't you get sick of the nightly trips to the potty???? What...

sleeping better, but still must get up 1-2 times per night

Okay, I've been on my CPAP since April. Took about 7 months to get to the "can't sleep without it" stage, and I'm there now... finally! I sleep better with it, but, I still get up during the night to pee. I also wake up several times during the night to just roll over or reposition myself. I was und...

Re: So I drop into chat last night and was attacked

I can't believe that people are being "ignored" and attacked on a CPAPtalk message board! That's insane! Of course, I've only visited about 10 times. I am definitely not a long timer. Maybe that's a good thing. Shocked that that kind of thing occurs... Oh well, must be the elementary school teacher ...

Hepa Filter attachments for CPAP

Have any of you tried the attachments that are sold for CPAP hoses that are HEPA filters? I was buying some cleansing cloths for mine and I ran across them. I'm highly allergic to dust and dust mites and was thinking of trying them. I'd like to hear from anyone who knows about them... Thanks. Somer

Re: sinus infection, bronchitis, and cpap

Yes. I've tried sinus rinse. I had surgery in 2002. Helped for a while, but low immunity has caused recurrence of sinus infections. Sleep apnea was a shock to all! I was only 32 at the time. Unusual for someone my age and size to have apnea. Anyway, I still struggle with sinus issues. I also struggl...

sinus infection, bronchitis, and cpap

Okay, so I suffer from recurring bronchitis. I currently have laryngitis (sp), sinus congestion, sinus drainage down my throat (I know, gross, and TMI), cough, sore throat. My question. It feels like it's dropping into my chest. Should I lay off of my CPAP while sick, or keep using it? Could it push...

Re: mirage quattro bruises my forehead

Thanks for all of the info! I had no idea that there were CPAP message boards! Wish I'd known about you in May when I got it! I am on my 3rd mask. I actually like it, but it's not perfect for me. I have a small face, and most of the masks are large on me. I need to read more of your posts to see wha...

mirage quattro bruises my forehead

Any suggestions for my mask? I have a mirage quattro that consistently bruises my forehead. It really hurts! Can I pad it with something to help? I've tried loosening it, but I loose my seal at that point. I wear a small, and probably need an extra- small to get a good fit. I'm going to try one when...
