need oxygen adaptor for Comfort Curve Mask
I recently bought a Comfort Curve mask on an auction. I think it will work for me, after I do a bit of “surgery’ on the headgear. My problem is, I use oxygen with the CPAP, and the adapter I use with my Comfort Gel, won’t fit the tubing of the Comfort Curve. I saw one on CPAP.COM, (O2 Enrichment Ada...

Re: I need to have a wisdom tooth pulled
You’ll do fine with a local , it’s not like it use to be. My dentist uses a medication on a Q-tip that numbs my gum before he injects the local, so it’s almost painless. Even if the Dentist chooses to use a mild sedation, it shouldn’t affect your apnea, there are drugs that will immediately reverse ...

Question about UPS
I really appreciate this forum, I’m learning a lot. I’ve been reading the posts about battery back-ups, but I haven’t seen my question come up. I live at over 9,00 ft. in elevation, and due to a minor sleep apnea caused heart problem, I use oxygen at night with CPAP from an oxygen concentrator at 2 ...

Re: Another DME headache
You can win this, I did. I had my sleep study in November 08, and the Dr. from the sleep lab, sent a prescription to a DME. Of course I was given the REMSTAR PLUS with C-flex. I had never heard of CPAP, and was clueless. All my DME cared about was my compliance, and making sure I sent in the smart c...

is my experience normal?
I’m pretty much a newbie, I’ve been using CPAP for three weeks. After my sleep study, I was told I would be contacted about a CPAP machine. In about a week I received a call to pick up my machine at a home care company . I was given a quick “how to” lesson on a M Series Remstar Plus C flex with a hu...

Re: Battery recomendations
I'm really new here and haven't figured out how to "ask" a question. I have a Respironics Remstar Plus with C-flex and heated humidifier. My Internal Med Dr says I need a battery backup that will kick in automatically in a power outage, which we have frequently. I take pain meds and probably wouldn'...
