Sinus Issues
I've been using my CPAP for about 2 years now give or take some months, and though I'm greatful for having solved the apnea and received ongoing treatment, I can't help but wonder if the treatment is part of my issue now that each and every night my nasal lining swells, making it difficult to use my...

I may have another pillow, I think I was originally set up with three. I'll try that.
Thanks

Re: Nasal Irritation and Constant Rain Out
More of my water issues come from the nasal pillows. It helps me that I now have 2 pillows so I can switch out during the night. How is it that you're having issues because of the nasal pillows? I'm curious if I'm duplicating the problem you're having. Everyone was pretty quick to see that I got on...

Re: Another Newbie CPAP User
I've had my Resmed CPAP for five nights; I'm no longer convinced it is working properly. Exhalation is difficult, even though my ERP setting is on 3, same as it was when the tech set me up. Don't be convinced it IS working properly when you first get it. Mine only worked for a few hours after the f...

Re: Nasal Irritation and Constant Rain Out
Does the string just dry out during the day, or do you find yourself changing it out at all?
Also, how do you have it situated so that it does not end up blocking anything?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Nasal Irritation and Constant Rain Out
Thanks
I am pretty sure it's water and not drainage, but how can I be certain?
Betting it's water, I will try to reduce the setting. I normally have it at 2, anything less has seemed to dry me out.
Thanks again

Re: Falling asleep at the wheel
Mike I can't say I have the same regimented medicines you do, but I have had the same problems in driving prior to using my CPAP. So I'm compelled to ask this question first. Are you using your equipement throughout the night? If you are and still experiencing sleepieness, then I'd imagine the probl...

Nasal Irritation and Constant Rain Out
Hi again. First, thanks for all the help so far. I am forever greatful. I've been dealing with nasal irritation and rainout for the past two weeks now, with it getting progressively worse. In dealing with the rain out, at first I didn't understand, then the logical side of me kicked in and I moved t...

Re: Trouble Keeping Headgear On
I hope your second question doesn't get lost in this thread. To you have responded, thank you very much. This has certainly helped. To clarify a couple points. 1. Yes, I am / was physically waking up and taking it off. 2. The unit detatches from the humidfier. It is heating the water, and yes, last...

Trouble Keeping Headgear On
Hello forum. Some quick background, like many on here, I've gone years undiagnosed with OSA. I finally listened to my wife and went to the doc to get a referral, then the Pulminology clinic to get the study set up. Some figures that scared the crap out of me. 67% O2 levels, OSA episodes an average o...
