When you lie awake for hours, the machine will record usage, not sleep. If it records apneas, they may be CAs.

Re: Resmed n30i-Breathing out
If you are using a Resmed machine there is a setting for EPR which will relieve pressure on exhale. Check your settings and make sure it is on and set for 2 or 3.

Re: F20 Hydroplaning off your face at a 15 IP
The only way it would "hydroplane" is if your face was wet. If your humidity is too high your face could get wet at night causing "farting like" leaks. If it gets too wet, I guess the mask could move a little. 15 cm(H2O) is not an extremely high pressure.

Re: F40 Mask Leaks
I love the F40 mask, but disappointed that the cushion has developed leaks this past 3 nights after less than 2 months use. It's the farty leaks that you just can't adjust out and to me, it's an indicator that the cushion has deteriorated and needs replacing. I wash the cushion and my face every ni...

Re: reliable approved sources
Call your insurance company to see whar companies are in their network. In many cases it's the local dealer that is the problem...not necessarily the company itself.

Re: Very dry mouth with Mounjaro and CPAP even with taping
xylimelts.jpg Longtime cpap user, Resmend s9 Auto, Resmed P10 mask. Since taking Mounjaro, I often get severely dry mouth at night with cpap. I have taped for years, but even with taping my mouth gets super dry. Question: What could improve this? Would a full-face mask help, as it could deliver hum...

Re: How often should things be replaced?
Replace when things wear out...not necessarily when the dealer tells you to. Keep a back up of each item. If you are going to have a problem it will usually be on Friday night with no CPAP supplies available.

Re: 5 Year Replacement & Medicare/Insurance
Just got off the phone with the DME confirming the order of the replacement CPAP. Yes, there is a 13 month 'rental' on the replacement, but unlike the initial CPAP I had, there is no usage compliance requirement. Monday the RT from the DME comes to the house to deliver and go over the new machine, ...

Re: Anxious to Apnea
Some people adapt immediately..others take months or more. The main thing is to have a positive attitude. Don't start out thinking that this is never going to work.
