Re: yay, got me a new nasal pillow! anyone else have it?

The machine you list doesn't support data, and it's not made to treat Central Sleep apnea. Jim yyyyyyyyeah that has nothing to do with this post. look, all i know at this point is that with the pressure at 8, the CPAP is enough to trigger me to breathe. hell, it worked during the CPAP trial test......

yay, got me a new nasal pillow! anyone else have it?

thanks to everyone who replied to my first post, especially GumbyCT, who suggested the headrest! the medical supplier i'm using doesn't have that one... but they have one that's pretty similar... the breeze sleepgear does anyone else on here use that one, and more importantly, do you like it? i'm ac...

Anyone else here have Central Sleep Apnea?

i've noticed that the majority of the users on here have obstructive sleep apnea... which is all fine and dandy when it comes to needing advice about cpap machines and stuff, because the machines and masks are the same whether you have OSA or central apnea. i however have central sleep apnea... my b...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

Okay, I'm a little confused? I have vegan friends that won't wear leather shoes, or belts. Finding good winter gloves with no animal products can be a big challenge. But I guess I didn't know that wool was off limits too. I'm guessing that electric knives are unneeded, as opposed to anti-vegan? New...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

Oh, and if you can handle nasal pillows, I like the Puritan Bennett Breeze for stomach sleeping, as long as you're not burying your face in the pillows. yeah, i don't really bury my face in the pillow... when i'm on my stomach, my head's almost on the edge of the pillow. if it's not on the edge, th...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

If you research "deviated septum" you'll find it to be a crook in the septum that separates the left side from the right side of the nasal canal. When anything pushes on the end of your nose to where you look like Miss Piggy, it can further obstruct your nasal valve. When they repair this the surge...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

Route the hoses over your head if you can manage that. Hang them off of something a little higher than your head like a headboard. It really helps a lot with tangling. The Padacheekcovers are great for the straps problem and not too expensive. i tried the hose-over-the-head thing, but that created ...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

the product contains milk........vegans dont use dairy products at all. I'm a vegetarian, so I do use dairy (milk, eggs, cheese), thats the difference. actually, lansinoh doesn't contain milk... it's made of lanolin. lanolin is the oily/waxy substance secreted from the sebaceous glands of wool-bear...

Re: options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

You won't be able to belly sleep with a full-face or nasal mask. So the ONLY choice will be nasal pillows and by far THE best choice, hands down is - http://www.aeiomed.com/products/headrest.php i think i love you. ok, i just took a look at the website.... and oh my goodness, this one is, dare i sa...

options for a stomach sleeper?! (first post)

hi. i'm victoria. apollyloggies, this post is going to be long. a little background info: i'm 22, and i was recently "officially" diagnosed with sleep apnea. (it had been suspected for years, since i was around 12, but i didn't do an actual sleep study until a few months ago.) i used to snore as a k...
