Re: HUMIDIFICATION WITHOUT HEAT --is it possible?
Thanks again all. My apologies "feeling better" i used the wrong phrase. i did not mean integrate, but merely interface. Thanks snore dog, i ended up buying the machine you suggested. What i learned from all my research was if i only had the m series unit without the intgrated humidifier, then i wou...

Re: HELP!!!
Thanks everyone for all the info. "cflame your and jules answers to the name issue were worth a lot. it helps to clarify, so thanks. I do wonder cflame what those quirks were you mentioned in the m series. Julie, i could not agree more about not focusing on every little detail and had decided to giv...

Re: HUMIDIFICATION WITHOUT HEAT --is it possible?
Thanks feeling better, actually i am doing research and am now more confused than ever. I need to know which passover units my machine will integrate with as all sellers say used with remstar auto but then one seller will say, not useful with M series while another will make no mention of that. Part...

Thanks everyone. ) Snoredog that looks like just what i need, i'll order one today!! ) Feeling better thanks for your thoughts. I do have a hose huggy which helped greatly to prevent rain out when trying to use heated humidity. But again it was the heat that created problems for me. I don't think i ...

HUMIDIFICATION WITHOUT HEAT --is it possible?
Well I've gone from 0- 1 hour of CPAP use my first 6 weeks or so up to a high of about 3 hours but everytime i have one issue under control, another crops up. I have finally realized I just don't like hot or even mildy warm air blowing in my face. If it were only up my nose that might be ok but sinc...

Re: Only one telephone line into your house?
Don't worry needingu, it's not spam. It was a sincere attempt to help others who may have a similar problem. Looks like it directly helped at least one because they responded. Who knows how many who didn't respond it may help. And it directly it helped the higher tec h folks to as another option was...

Re: The saga continues....
I don't mean to sound morose but thank god you developed flu symptoms. Sounds like you've got another reason to go to the ER. If your rash was reason enough, lack of oxygen, respiratory infection and fear of death should be as well. Tell the ER doc you need oxygen. At the very least you will be on O...

Ambient Humidification vs. Integrated Humidifiction
I'm wondering if anyone has every used a regular room humidifier to moisten the ambient air in the room as aposed to using some CPAP specific humidification device. I really don't like the air warm. I like to sleep in a cold room and as long as the air isn't freezing, it is more comfortable for me. ...

THE BLUE LIGHT
Since i've seen so many complain about the blue light on the respironics m series cpap it's making me wonder. I have that machine too for a couple months now. I've been doing the same thing with it as i've done with my digital clock for many, many years, namely place a towel over it? It certainly ne...

cushioning for the mirage quattro FF mask -- please help
A nasal mask didn't work for me and then i went through several FFmasks before my present mirage quattro of which i alternate between medium as large as they both have pluses and minuses. overall i love the mask but am amazed that it is designed with such hard, sharp edges without sufficient cushion...

Surgical Intervention for UARS or dental appliance
While this letter was written to Dr. Baarry Krakow based on his post on UARS, I am interested in hearing comments from everyone. ) thanks. ) I've been reading with great interest the post on UARS from a year ago. While no one at the Stanford sleep lab has ever mentioned UARS to me, it would explain ...
