There was a recall of some of these humidifiers within the last year. I received my machine October 2008. It was on the recall list and was replaced by Respironics no questions asked. If you are working with a DME, you should contact them for the list of affected machines.

I use the Soyala Nasal mask and like it. The one I am using now is about 6 months old and does not have the problems you report. You can purchase a replacement cushion for this mask from CPAP.com.

Katie, I don't use the SleepWeaver mask but my suggestion is to adjust the straps while you are lying down. That's true of any mask. Everything shifts when you lie down, so it's best to make your adjustments in that position.

I use a Bi-PAP at 17/22 cm H2O. I use the Soyala Nasal mask and I am satisfied with it. It was used during my titration and was issued to me by the DME.
