Re: FORUM CATEGORIES - (Just hear me out…)
IF it was decided that categories should be used (and I mean IF, I am impartial), perhaps we could institute a friendly, community moderation system. I mean this seems like a very cooperative community here. Maybe have a "move to alternate topic" option at the bottom of threads. Then anyone can move...

Re: Anyone ever feel like this?
Jweeks has a very good point. I remember after my first sleep study, where I only slept a few hours on the machine, I was up and energized for what must have been 24 hours straight before I even yawned. After going so long without good, restful sleep I didn't need a whole night to feel rested. Now, ...

Re: Anyone ever feel like this?
Fair enough. Have you used the SleePAP pillow? I'm interested in hearing how it is.
How is the Chiroflow? I haven't even heard of that one. Does it provide decent neck support? That's what caused me to buy a memory foam pillow.

Re: FORUM CATEGORIES - (Just hear me out…)
I like the idea of topics. I think this is the only forum I frequent that doesn't have them. Just keeps things organized, and I come here for information myself, so it would be nice to parse things out quickly. Just my two cents.

Re: Anyone ever feel like this?
Since you said you're already an anxious person, your increased anxiety might be mostly in your head. No offense meant. But if you know you're supposed to be wearing your CPAP all night and you know you're not doing it, well you could just be getting yourself worked up. I can understand that, we usu...

Re: I really need some help!
And if using your CPAP without the humidifier is a problem, try using the humidifier at zero (or no heat). I started using a CPAP with a humidifier before they had heated humidifier chambers and I can't get used to breathing warm air. I need things cool or at least room temperature, so I clean my hu...

Re: taping mouth shut
Well I can't judge without ever trying it out. I never came on the forums before I got the FF mask or else I probably would have tried tape. I guess we all find our quirky little "fixes" for getting comfortable with sleeping with a cpap. Before I got the FF mask I just used a chin strap and kept it ...

Have any of you tried a full face mask? The tape thing seems a little excessive.
I don't think I would be able to sleep like that. But I guess I used to say that about wearing a machine that blows high pressure air into your nose too

Re: Where to put the machine
You should definitely check if the condensation is just in the nasal pillows. I've had this problem too. My CPAP is at about the same level as my head but my hose goes down behind the bed and back up to me so gravity shouldn't really be a factor. I agree with janknitz, it's probably the temperature ...

Re: Poll: Are you happy with your current supplier? VOTE Please
I used a local provider here in Louisville Kentucky that was actually pretty great. But they would only call me every 6 months or so when it was time for me to renew my big money supplies, I would have liked for them to send me filters on a timely basis so I didn't have to worry about it. I switched...

Re: Teeth alignment shifting
I actually switched to a full face mask because I got sick of using a chin strap. Over time the chin strap made my minor overbite worse and started to leave a noticeable dent on the back of my head, especially when I sometimes shaved my head in summer. Mine hits at right about my gumline but I haven...
