Re: Travel (Portable) CPAP
I was just planning on a unit for emergencies, namely if I get snowed in at work and have to bunk with a co worker who lives a block away, or the motel down the street. This would only be an extremely rare occurrence. I am just annoyed at the trained dog jumping contest to get a one. i have a resmed...

Travel (Portable) CPAP
Anyone know where to buy one, new or used. Can't get a prescription because the damn docs want me to come in and talk. Nothing but a sham, scam, and money grubbing in my opinion. I could make and appointment, and waste time and money, but this annoys me. Anyone know how to make your own cpap machine...

Re: OT: Government Caused The Current Recession
Cost of people is coming home to roost.
We all caused this... imo.
Everyone wants gubmint handouts.. despite the pricetag attached.
(witness Obama going after a bill to cap the salaries of ceos of banks who applied for gubmint handouts. gubmint is the camel with the nose in the tent.)

Re: Discovered I can't sleep w/o cpap
There should be outlets: try and be near one. Bring a long heavy duty extension cord as well. or get a battery pack.
I wouldn't even want to sleep w/o it.

Yes there are backups..
You will have to do some research on it.

Hang in there...
I would seriously disinfect everything once the cold has passed.
I have also heard good things about netipots.

Re: Using the bypass attachment for remstar
Which leads me to the question: I think I leave the empty tank in the machine, turn it off, and put in the bypass piece.
sound ok?

Using the bypass attachment for remstar
I have a colonoscopy scheduled for the end of the month. I have been told to bring my machine with me. To forestall an accidental flooding of the machine I am going to use the humidifier bypass attachment that came with it. Sound like a good idea? I think I know where it goes: I am curious as to how...

Re: Distilled Water
I have a tabletop distiller I bought from Sears back in 1994. I got it for my Krups cappacino machine in order to avoid mineral deposits on the inside of it. Both machines are STILL going. The Krups has had to have two repairs but the distiller is still chugging along. Guess I finally got a couple o...

Re: Weird dreams are back
I don't remember them all, but I do remember this one: mainly because (and this sounds funny) I was there before. Same strange sand dunes, water, etc. There was a road, but it was nothing but sand with tracks in it. All I remember is a co-worker from quite a few years back driving a bus with several...

Weird dreams are back
When I went for the titration over a month ago, I was told when the results came in they would have liked to see a higher REM number, it was actually a little lower. AS it was, the titration gave me one of the few flying dreams I've ever had. For a while, I could hardly recollect the dreams I had. N...
