Electrical Storm

Darth, Well. I have more to think about. Thank you for the other site. I have looked at it and made a copy. So I guess you are saying," UPLUG IT". I also have a hearing loss and I use flashers to get my attention. Lightning has hit those in the past. My computer has also been destroyed via a storm i...

Electrical Storms

To the point. If there is a severe electrical storm should the CPAP macine be turned off? What if there is a surge protector? Last night I had a severe storm. I woke up and for the first time I wasn't sure what to do. So I shut it down and waited for about an hour. Usually I don't get to uptight abo...

Mornings

I would like to know how others feel in the morning after being on the cpap machine all night? I have a Res Med S7 Elite and the nasal pillow is small compared to the first mask I had. I sometimesthink I would feel better if I had an adjustable bed, so I could bring my body up at an angle.Any though...

Mouth/ jaw drops open

Titrator, THis is onemorething. I haven't been on for a while due to taking online classes and working etc. One of my co-workers is using a mask--I think a Spirit..anyway her jaw keeps dropping open. A number of months ago someone said they used a type of bandaid to stop it and it worked. I just don...

tiredted

tiredted,

For some reason my insurance covers everything except $40.00 !! I had stopped breathing 80 times and hour. I am considered severe. That may be the reason I am covered.

When you know let us know the results, so we can learn from you. Thanks

your wife

Bobcat, I hope your wife appreciates you trying to help her. I am new at this myself, but I would say go to someone new and talk to them. Each person in the forum seems to have their own style. If something doesn't work they try a suggestion from someone else. I am slowly getting used to it. I only ...

Airhead,

If you dont' mind would you tell me the conversation leading up to your reply. I am stuffing most nights and thought I should take a decongestant, but maybe this is something I should check on.

Thanks, onemorething

Power Backup

Chrisp,

Thank you for the great info on power backups. I really hadn't thought about it. I live in an area where we do have power outages. So I will plan on taking your advice.
