Re: So who had night ssweat before CPAP?
I certainly did. Would wake up with my pillow soaked along with my t-shirt soaked at the neck and chest. Really weird. Had no idea it was because of my apnea. Since I've been on BiPAP - no sweats! Just pure 100% deep sleep, my brother!

Traveling with CPAP
I've been on my BiPAP for about a month now. From night #1 I've been 100% satisfied and happy with this life-changing machine I traveled out of town Tuesday and packed all my gear. Got to the hotel and set everything up about 10pm ready to hit the sack - I was exhausted from the day of travel and wo...

Re: bag under eyes
I thought it was just me...but now I've read your post that could explain it. I wear a full face mask and recently started noticing much heavier circles under my eyes. I just thought it might be because I sleep so deeply now that caused the bags. Might be because of the mask and pressure worn during...

Respironics BiPAP M-Series Software?
I tried downloading the software from the previous post off the cpap website but never got it for some reason. Anyone have a copy that can be emailed? I have the card reader now...just no program to translate the data.

Re: Taking off mask at night?
I've been on the therapy for almost 3 weeks now. I woke up one morning and realized my mask was off, sitting on my nightstand, and it dawned on me that sometime during the middle of the night I woke up and thought, "Okay, time to get up, get dressed, and go to work!" I obviously immediately fell bac...

Re: Card Reader?
Thank you VERY MUCH for all the advice and responses. I ordered the one from SecureTech today. Once it's in I'll give it a go and report back the experience.
Thanks again, y'all

Card Reader?
I have a Respironics BiPAP M-Series Auto machine with smart card. 1. Does anyone know if we can just use ANY smart card reader found all over eBay...or does it need to be a specific type of reader? 2. Once the reader issue is answered, what type of software is needed to interpret the data for the sm...

As Borat would say: "GREAT SUCCESS!"
Wow...all I can say is "WOW!" My first night on my Respironics Auto BiPAP and Mirage Ultra FFM... Went to sleep about 10:30pm, (wife said I went quickly), and only briefly woke a few times to readjust mask as pressure increased during night. I slept until 4:30am which is when the alarm went off! For...

Re: New User - Howdy :-)
Oh, I didn't know you could request specific equipment. I'm assuming my insurance, (Blue Cross/Blue Shield-HMO Texas), decides what I get and they tell the supplier what to give me? When I spoke with the lady on the phone yesterday, she told me that she thought I was getting a ResMed BiPAP but was n...

New User - Howdy :-)
Hello: Had my sleep study last Thursday and I'm getting my BiPAP machine this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to a restful night's sleep for the first time in almost 2 years! I did really well with the full face mask and machine during the sleep study, (they put it on after 2 hours of sleeping...
