TV show "House" and sleep apnea.
I don't know if it's been mentioned here or not, this weeks episode of the TV show "House" actually mentioned sleep apnea as being the possible cause that House was having hallucinations/problems. Would of been nice if they had actually mentioned a little more about it but at least sleep apnea wasn'...

Re: Sleep Centers in West Hollywood?
Ever since I have become obsessed with sleep and apnea <g>, I talk about it constantly with friends and family. I'm sure they want to kick me straight in the teeth sometimes. LOL. I am pretty sure I've convinced my aunt to go for a sleep study. She snores and has had people tell her she stops breat...

Re: Joining the M-series Auto with A-flex club
Hmmmmmm...............everyone seems to be stating that their's is soooooo quiet. My first one was very noisy and I was able to get a replacement which was much quieter. However, someone says that they hear the exhaust port of their mask instead of the machine? What kind of mask are you using? I'm u...

Re: suggested 'delivery' system for Pursleep aromas....
You can replicate this by purchasing an Aromatherapy Scent Ball, and put the scent on the included paper pads. I've done this for my Boyfriend, who needed some sleep assistance. He sleeps now with PurSleep, though without a cpap machine. This is the one I bought: http://www.advitamins.com/aromather...

suggested 'delivery' system for Pursleep aromas....
I recently purchased a Air Wick refill that supposedly fits all Air Wick Warmers. There's a round wick coming out of the top of the bottle that has the scent in it. I placed this in front of the air intake of my M-Series CPAP machine and the scent was definitely being drawn through the CPAP machine ...

Re: Venting of Swift LT
For the life of me I don't understand why mask manufacturers build masks the way they do. If you vent down, you hit the user. If you vent it straight out you hit the user or the bed partner. If you vent up at a angle (about 45 degrees, not too steep, you want to avoid blowing into the eyebrows or t...

Re: confused on the encore software for my M-series Auto machine
Thanks everyone for the help on software for my M-series Auto machine. I now have the card reader and software. Now all I have to do is spend time trying to figure what the software shows. Is it a good idea to erase the card everytime that you use it? or is okay to just leave the card alone and left...

Re: Swift LT Pillows
I think ResMed should be made aware of this problem regarding exhaling with the Swift LT small pillows. Does anyone know if ResMed knows about this? If not, any ideas on who to contact? Gail I totally agree. The bizarre thing is, I have more trouble inhaling through them that exhaling. Go figure. A...

confused on the encore software for my M-series Auto machine
I want to get software for my M-series auto CPAP machine. I see people posting about Encore Pro software and Encore Viewer software. What's the pluses and minuses for both? I have Vista installed on the computer that I'll be using to analyze the data from my CPAP machine. It seems like there's been ...

Re: Swift LT Pillows
I know that this has been addressed before, but I seemed to have lost the stream on this question. When using the Swift LT mask, I find that the best fit for my nose is the "small" size of the pillows. However, I also find that the holes that the air passes through are TOO SMALL and create some rat...

Re: High Frequency Noise on M Series Auto
I've been working with my new M Series Auto w/A-Flex for a week. It seems that just about every night i get this high frequency noise coming from the machine some time during the night. I've fiddled with the mask, the hose and even moved the unit around a bit trying to fix it. If i stop and then re...

Re: Swift LT
Don't try cutting the nasel pillow ends since it didn't help me and scewed up my extra medium pillow. Unless you're having problems breathing with the Swift LT, yes, don't bother cutting the nasal pillow ends. I, however, didn't seem to get enough air during the breathing process when I used the me...

Wow, I filled out my request minutes after you posted the challenge and I did not get a email from you. Oh well, Guess that means I stay with the Swift LT, ay.. -Dennis Bummer.....I filled it out within a very short time as well. I was hoping to be able to participate as I qualified for this one. H...
