Okay so maybe the next mask will be the charm for me. But you engineer types who have done the research and have the prototypes, please ...

Re: Cost of CPAP
You have to do your research. That being said, for service and price I haven't been able to find better than cpap.com. Good people, really. Whatever you choose, make sure your decisions are informed ones. Good luck.

made-to-order masks
Some of us buy off-the-rack. Some of us are custom-fit types. How come no one (at least to my knowledge!) has thought of making cpap masks to fit the user. I mean really "manufacture", not just ribbon and bows, tape and elastic bands. Each of us has different needs, shaped faces, etc. If you read ov...

MISERABLE in Montreal
I have been using cpap machine for 1 year. In that time I have tried different masks, types and styles. I finally settled on using one just over my nose and then moved to one with nose pillows. I think it was a SWIFT (?) Because it has straps on the face I found that even with the felt covers on tha...

CPAP and stomach stuff+
Hi there, You have all been so helpful in the past: hope you can help me this time. I am using a Breeze mask. With some homemade adjustments, it is okay, not great, but okay. Kinda like wearing a hat on a stormy day; one strong wind and its gone! But anyway, seems that I am now developing strange sy...

Well, I had never participated in any forum before I found cpaptalk.com. I guess that misery needs company and so I logged on and asked for help. I am amazed by the responses I got in answer to my problems with my Breeze mask and the info. I needed on travel equipment. You all were really helpful as...

Re: overnight flights
Thanks Craig; That was really helpful. What did you do re: battery? Do you recommend buying/renting one of those little cpap machines to travel with?

overnight flights
I hope there is someone out there who has flown overnight. Did you use your cpap in-flight? What extra equipment did you need? I really need help. We are flying to Thailand soon and I don't know what to do. Do I invest in one of those little machines? Will I be allowed to use it? What about plugging...

Hi Joy; I can't help you with all of this, but I do know from experience that that loud blowing sound happens when you breathe through your mouth. It may happen other times as well, that part I don't know. You can try it out while you are awake; see what happens. So much of this is so frustrating. G...

I am certainly no expert but I am sympathetic. Know thru my own experiences that sometimes the machine seems to have a life of its own when there is a leakage however minimal it might be. You might want to check that out. Good luck!

Hi, new here but have been using CPAP machine for 1 year. Am having several issues right now and could use some input please.
