I don't ever remember a non-breathing episode during night sleeping before CPAP. I do not nap often but after 5 years on CPAP I dozed off. During that time I must have had an episode because I dreamed??? I could not breathe and I was panicking. It was a horribly scary moment. I'd recommend it always.
