Re: Sore Jaw
Hi. I've had sore jaw issues for a few years. I can't keep my mouth open for long periods of time when I'm at the dentist and sometimes when I eat it gets sore - particularly half way through a bag of chips (probably not a bad thing). My dentist at the time didn't know but my new dentist knew right ...

Acceptable Leak Rate?
Hello. Last night I used CPAP for the first time. I am using a Swift LT nasal pillow mask and a Remstar Auto M machine. I'm using it in CPAP mode for now with a pressure of 7 and C-Flex of 3. After a few hours of use last night, the system leak rate was 25.5 l/min. Is this ok? What is the acceptable...

Re: Is all this really worth it?
These are all very profound and convincing posts. I appreciate the time you have all taken to share your opinions and experience with me. I knew I was going to go forward with it but I've been just a little hesitant. This is all very new to me. "Is all this really worth it?" is obviously a dumb ques...

Is all this really worth it?
Naturally people would come here to troubleshoot issues so I understand that the negative aspects of CPAP treatment would be more heavily represented in this forum, but after a week of reading about all the issues people have, I'm wondering how worth it all of this trouble really is. I'm often tired...

Re: Newbie needs advice
Thanks for all the replies and great info. It's a tough choice but maybe trying it out first and going local for the first set of equipment is probably a little better than buying it cheaper and hoping that it'll all work out. That means I'll likely end up trying the S8 Elite II. I don't recall what...
