Re: Number in parentheses in SH for Hypopneas?
Sorry about my profile not showing the correct machine. I have not been able to find the location on the site where I can change it. My data is coming from a Devilbiss Intellipap APAP unit. I have similar readings from the data on my PR System one, which is about two years old. The PR System one sho...

Number in parentheses in SH for Hypopneas?
I'm sure this has probably been answered previously but I can't find it. In the Events data in Sleepyhead, what does the number in parentheses next to each of Hypopneas mean? I know the time of the event is first but then is the number I am asking about, Mine usually shows (1) or (2) or (3), sometim...

Re: Waiting for CPAP/APAP machine is torture!
My experiences with the DME providers convinced me that there was a need for another entry into that business, an entry focused on customer satisfaction and service. I think that need was filled online by companies like CPAP.com. It seemed to me that the local providers have become accustomed to cus...

Re: Thoughts on AHI of 4.5 to 5.0
Thanks, yes I think this is the same day, but I later went in and change the leak reporting threshold in the preferences of SH. I think it just cleaned up the reporting of large leaks.

Re: Thoughts on AHI of 4.5 to 5.0
The first chart is data form the System One that left me feeling lousy. The second is the new Devilbiss machine results from one night this week. I really don't understand the high leak rate shown on the chart for the Devilbiss because the Devilbiss software shows no leak for it. Any items you guys ...

Re: Thoughts on AHI of 4.5 to 5.0
As far as, how do I feel the next day? Generally tired, but part of that is because I am only getting 5-6 hours in bed(I say in bed because maybe not all that is good sleep). That is due to work schedule, long commute and just generally too much to do and don't get to bed soon enough....I would thin...

Re: Waiting for CPAP/APAP machine is torture!
I also waited weeks. Finally, I called the equipment provider I was required to use at the time and asked them why I had not heard from them. They were in no hurry and seemed in no way concerned about my health. Only when I said that if I died in the meantime due to problems with sleep apnea did the...

Thoughts on AHI of 4.5 to 5.0
I an currently using a new Devilbiss Intellipap autoAdjust machine set for a range of 10-20. The machine generally runs at 10-11. When I input the daily Smartcode from the machine into the Devilbiss SmartLink app, it shows me an AHI of usually 4.5-5, sometimes 3.5. When I look at the same data on Sl...

Re: how to purchase new auto cpap without Rx on cpap.com?
Kinda related inquiry: If a patient has one script issued by his sleep doctor and he orders a machine from a site, such as cpap.com, would he be allowed to purchase a second, third or even fourth machine using the same script? Thanks in advance for the clarification. Sent from heaven I have purchas...

I have several Comfortgel masks and might have what you need. Mine are not the full face ones though. What size mask do you use?

Re: PR system One Remstar 60 doesn't auto adjust
Are you 100% sure it is in 'Auto' mode ('on') vs Cpap? I have gone through the settings two or three times and set it for auto and then set or verified the low range to be 9 and the top of range to be set at 20. It doesn't seem likely there is a software issue preventing auto adjusting but unless I...

PR system One Remstar 60 doesn't auto adjust
I have a PR system One REMstar 60 series Auto CPAP I purchased back in December of 2013. I bought it mainly as a backup and for travel purposes, so it has never actually seen regular or heavy use. My issue with it is that it doesn't seem to vary my pressure. I have it set for 9-20 and the only setti...

Re: If you can buy your machine outright, do it!
Absolutely if you can buy your own machine, do it! I got fed up 'paying rent' too and tried to buy one I had to turn in due to a change in insurance companies. they wanted far more than I bought a better machine from cpap.com for. I got to choose my machine, a Remstar APAP, and I just bought an M-se...
