Flexifit masks

gulfpearl; I currently use the F&P Flexifit 407, and am satisfied with it. The first mask I used was the Flexifit 405, and had problems with it. Due to the larger size or footprint of the 405, i had to really tighten the straps to avoid leaks, and it really marked my face and forehead. The 407 doesn...

Hey Bubba; Welcome to the forum. I have a similar problem with nasal congestion. While i was at the sleep study, the sleep doctor prescribed Nasonex, which i use just before bedtime. I found that i helps me, although it may take 4 -5 days before the effects are realyy noticeable. God bless, Terry

It's kinda funny you should mention that. I was cleaning my mask and hose yesterday, and had the hose hanging over the top of the door while cleaning the mask. At that point i had a mental image of the hose falling from hanging over the door into the toilet!! Immediately i put the lid down on the to...

Turtle; Last night i used the F&P Flexifit HC 407 and had my bet night ever on cpap. The main difference with this mask compared to the others i've used was that the footprint, or seal area is smaller. As i have kinda chubby cheeks, and prominent cheek bones, the smaller footprint area did not sit o...

I test drove a F&P Flexifit HC 407 last night. It defiitely fit my face better than HC 405 that i used with my rental, and the Aclaim 2 i purchased with my new machine. I didnot have to over tighten the straps to get a good seal. When i awoke this morn the mask and straps had shifted/ slid up a lit...

I went to see my gear supplier this afternoon, looking for an alternate mask suggestion. I looked at several, and they let me take a Flexifit HC 407 home for an overnight test drive. I couldn't resist a preview, so i hosed up, and wow!! Since it is a little smaller, there seems to be less area to le...

Thank you for your replies and the words of encouragement It would appear that finding the right interface(mask) is where the compliance really hinges on. THE BIG CHALLENGE. I went out today and got some velcro and some foam to modify the mask, hopefully to better pad the part that is imprinting/den...
