I am selling this machine because I am no longer using it. There is nothing at all wrong with it. It is in excellent condition.sleepycarol wrote:Why are you selling this machine?

Re: Finally!
Rested Gal, you said: " The cpap air can fill the mouth and balloon out the cheeks (the "blowfish" effect that Jim mentioned), but the cpap air will be contained (not allowed to leak) from the mouth and the sleeper can continue to breathe through the nose. The ballooning out cheeks can be bothersome...

Re: Finally!
Thanks to you all. I will up the humidity tonight. Tomorrow I will check on leaks and figure out how to tape my mouth to see if that helps any. Rested gal, you said: Or at least of treatment air detouring into the mouth from the back of throat and gushing out the mouth instead of being breathed down...

Finally!
Thank you for the help and support you have all given me over the last few weeks. I literally could not have gotten everything straight without you! Last night I had the best night using CPAP. Resmed sent me a shallow attachment for my Activa mask, and it was awesome! It is perfect for someone like ...

Re: Rash With Activa Mask?
Thanks for the reply Echo! The second night, I decided to wash the mask in Baby Wash. I probably should have done this before wearing it the first night. I called Resmed, and the rep said to be sure to wash my face really good and not use any kinds of lotions or creams in the area the mask covers. S...

Rash With Activa Mask?
I used the Activa mask for the first time last night. I have some other issues that I will post about later, but my most pressing one at this point is a rash I just noticed. Have any of you ever had that before? There are clear pinpont sized vesicles where the mask goes. I am allergic to latex, but ...

It makes me hot LoQ. We sleep with the thermostat on 70 degrees and the ceiling fan on high. I HATE heat!

Re: Can you cut off the heat on the humidifier?
Well....maybe this is odd, but I need the humidity, but I don't need it heated. I would like to put it on 1, but just not have heat. Is this possible? I have tried having water in there, but putting it on zero. I get too dried out and I wake up with my nasal passages hurting terribly. Turning it on ...

Can you cut off the heat on the humidifier?
Is it possible to cut off the heat on the humidifier, but leave the humidifier on? Could this be a problem for my health?
How would I cut the humidifier off? I have the Respironics Remstar Auto M Series.
Thanks.

Re: Anyone ever cured?/More pressure required?
gasp- I have read that those with apnea have a higher rate of diabetes. My dad falls in that category. Maybe that accounts for the elevated sugar. That and those chocolate covered almonds!

Re: Little jacket for CL2 Nasal Piece
I opened this thread because I thought that someone else had found a way to cover the headgear hose to the nasal interface, be it any of the 3 choices, i.e. Nasal Pillows, Simple Seal, and Direct Seal. This is the small hose that goes over the forehead to the angle adjuster. (I tried to find a pict...
