Thanks for all the info, I'll go through it when I have some time.
With regards to the dry mouth, I have the Resmed Liberty which has the mouth part, which is why I wonder why I get dry mouth when I don't if I don't wear the mask.
Thanks

I'm a new user again
I first got my Resmed S8 and posted on this forum way back in 2008, then stopped using the device because of various problems (travelled a bit, mask caused a rash, frequent wake-ups, moved house etc). Anyway, I've now started using it again after my wife reminded me how much it cost and have some ne...

Re: Managed a full night with the mask, these are my figures
Thanks for the reply, and the encouragement.
Had another full night, woke up a couple of times but am getting more used to it.
I think I'll leave it as it is for a week, to get a 'control' of figures, then slowly increase the pressure a couple of points at a time.
Thanks again.

I've downloaded the data, and the figures are a bit worrying - people here are talking about an AHI of 1-2, mine is 28.5. This is the summary data: Settings: Min pressure = 4 Max pressure = 20.0 Figures: Me...

Acronyms
I'm a newbie to CPAP and this forum, and reading through I've come across a lot of acronyms. I'm in IT (Information Technology), and we're not averse to using them either, but the world of CPAP (oops, there's another one) seems to be full of them. Some are easy to guess, others not so much. Also, I'...

Another Newbie - and some questions
I had a sleep study about 3 years ago but due to various circumstances have only just got round to getting the equipment. I've read through a few posts here and have gone through the "Our Wisdom" section which answered many of my questions. However, I was hoping someone could give me some advice, pa...
