Re: newbie with ultra mirage ffm questions

I despise any mask that doesn't feature an under-the-chin design such as Fisher & Paykel or Hans Rudolph. Try out one of those brands and you may end up finding what you're looking for.

Re: Ultra Mirage Questions

The CPAP pillow is very supportive but it has a nice softness to it. It's the best pillow I've ever hand honestly.

Re: trouble breathing with swift LT mask

You also have to make sure you can breathe easily through your nose without the use of mouth breathing. If you have trouble with that (like me) then you'll have to look into a full face mask.

Re: Problem with masks fitting

I'm about to get my fifth mask in three months. My first mask was a disposable F & P and it was BY FAR the best fitting mask of all of them. My most recent was a Hans Rudolph which is an excellent mask but due to the fact that I broke my nose as a kid, it's hard to fit something on the bridge of my ...

Hello to everyone. I've been using a CPAP machine for about 3.5 months now after 3 years of severe sleep apnea. It's a real live improver!

Re: M-series AutoCpap machine users--help me please!

I love my M series with C-Flex. It's very quiet and it sits right by my head on a night stand. At least my wife thinks it's quiet. I have trouble hearing anyway thanks to a few deployments. I'm not sure how well of a gauge my hearing is but as stated before, it doesn't bother me or my wife. I haven'...

Re: crinkling sound in hose&pillow on inhalation

If the nasal pillow is collapsing (which is what it sounds like is happening due to your description), you need to alert your provider and see why this is happening. You may need more pressure if you aren't using an auto machine.

Re: cpap cleaning

Just some decent anti-bacterial soap or solution will do the trick. She may want to get a package of the CPAP cleaning wipes and pack them in a ziplock bag since those are very handy and make life easier than having to use a sink and soap to clean the working parts.

Re: Obsession with distilled water

I don't understand why some of you are afraid to "introduce" bacteria by opening the humidifier to clean it. Bacteria is already there. Distilled water breeds bacteria just the same as tap water, albeit more slowly. The only way to get it really clean is to use an old tooth brush and an anti-bacteri...
